Hi Figma support,We are having a issue with in prototype mode for specific flow when navigating with keyboard arrow left and right voor next or previous frame in the flow. Description of the bug/issue When navigation through a prototype with your arrow keys left or right. The prototype stays stuck and is only able to navigate to the first 2 frames and doesn’t further through the whole prototype.   Reproduction path (Simple) Create 4 frames with previous en next buttons Link the next buttons to the next frame and previous frame Start prototype mode Click on the buttons you can go through the flow (works fine) Use keyboard keys left and right to go through the prototype (doesn’t work correctly) It gets stuck on the first and 2nd frame when navigating which keyboard arrows Figma in Chrome and Figma app Tahoe 26.6 , Chrome browser 150.0.7871.187 ,  Figma app 126.7.10 Trouble shooting we’ve done Relink all the frames Create a brand new file move the frame and relink Cut and Paste

When I invite a new user to a Figma team and give them access to the entire project and its folders, the folder contents are not displayed consistently.Some folders appear completely empty, while others only show some of the files. In some cases, all files are visible as expected. The user has editing access to the team/project, but they still cannot see all of the files and folders they should have access to.As a workaround, I have to manually invite the user to individual folders again, even though they already have editing access at the team/project level.

Hi! I’m reaching out regarding the plugin. This is my first time using it, so I’m still figuring out how everything works and what the different features do.I noticed that using the plugin requires providing an email address. I initially entered one address, but later decided to change it for privacy and security reasons.I just want to clarify that this change was not an attempt to bypass any rules or restrictions. Multiple members in my team are unable to comment on files, they get an error “figma has restricted commenting”. Please help me with this.

Hi Figma Support,I’m having an issue with the CMS in a Figma Sites project. I have a verified student account and I am working on a Figma Sites assignment.I created a CMS collection called “Recipes”, but I am unable to edit or add CMS items.The issue is:I have edit access to the Figma Sites file and can make normal edits to the canvas. The left sidebar shows both CMS → Edit and CMS → Connect. The Recipes collection appears normally. However, when I open the Recipes collection, it only shows the CMS table in View only mode. The Edit option/tab is completely missing. I therefore cannot add new recipe items or edit the existing CMS fields.I have already checked this with my instructor, who also looked at the file and advised me to contact Figma Support.I also contacted the Figma support AI, and it suggested that because I can edit the canvas and the CMS sidebar contains both Edit and Connect, this may be a CMS-specific issue rather than a basic file permission issue.Could someone please h

Hi,Over de last few weeks our team is experiencing more and more inconvenient and work impeding bugs in Figma. Over the last few days we’ve been struggling to find workarounds for instances for which the ‘Variants could not be loaded’. It’s really awkward and unreliable if we design something and random things cause the designs to change. To name some that really affect our collaboration with other teams:Instances of components sometimes appear empty (this seems to be related to slots?). Changing properties for components with slots no longer work if the content within the slots was edited. Placement of layers seems ‘off’, until the layer is selected and automatically restores its placement. Instances of components that are inserted (Shift + i) are completely empty and void of layers. Copying main components from our spec files to our UI kit causes the variants to become duplicated within resulting in twice the number of variants and causing conflicts. Before today, I could select an image, draw a closed vector shape in it, and use Paint to remove or add the image fill within that vector shape. This allowed me to cut out parts of an image using vector geometry, without using a mask.For example:1. Select an image.2. Enter vector editing.3. Draw a closed vector shape over the desired area.4. Use Paint to remove/add the image fill inside that vector shape.If the vector shape was not closed, Figma simply would not allow the fill operation. It did not switch to Crop.Now, when I select Paint, Figma immediately switches to Crop → Custom. The vector shapes can still be created, but I can no longer use Paint to edit the image fill through those vectors.This is particularly important because I have existing Figma files where image cutouts were created using exactly this workflow. They were made with vector geometry, not masks. The objects are still clearly vector-based, but I can no longer edit their image fills using the previous method.I als

Hi Figma team,Right-click suddenly stopped working on the Figma Design canvas on my iPad. It was working normally until yesterday.The important detail is that right-click still works everywhere else in Figma, including the Layers panel and Figma menus. Usually, creating a new comment in Figma Design opens the comment bubble and places the cursor inside the input to allow me to immediately start typing.Recently I have noticed that sometimes (I’m not sure exactly what specific scenarios) the cursor doesn’t get placed into the comment bubble. This is hard to notice and the inconsistency makes it annoying as I start typing and then, rather than typing my comment, Figma starts jumping around as my keypresses are registered not as text input, but as UI shortcuts, navigation between boards, changing tools and so on. This then takes several seconds to revert back to how things were and find where I was in my file, and takes my focus off the comment I was trying to make. After this happens, the next comment might be absolutely fine, or it might happen again - there’s no obvious pattern of when it does/doesn’t happen.

Just tried Figma Motion and animations work great when tested on standalone screens. However, there's a noticeable issue when a page transition is triggered via an interaction (e.g. clicking a CTA): the final state of the animation briefly flashes (~0.5s) before snapping back to its initial state and playing. This creates a visible glitch every time you navigate between pages. Hope this gets looked into! Additionally, there seems to be a bug with overlays: animations don't appear to trigger when placed inside an overlay. The animation simply doesn't play.

Summary:Color swatches for aliased variables in the Variables panel show a "?" icon instead of the resolved color — even though the underlying data is fully valid and the color renders correctly everywhere it's actually applied (e.g. a layer's Fill property).Context that may be relevant to the root cause:We use a three-layer token architecture across three variable collections: Primitives (raw values) → Semantics (aliases to Primitives) → Components (aliases to Semantics). The "?" issue only appears on the Components layer — variables that are aliases pointing to OTHER aliases. The Semantics layer, where variables alias directly to hard/concrete Primitive values (not to another alias), does not show this issue. Issue Description: I am experiencing a consistent issue with the "Copy Design" button in Figma Make. After generating a design, clicking "Copy Design" and pasting it into the Figma canvas frequently results in a blank frame.Details: Reproducibility: Highly consistent (nearly 100% reproduction rate). Success Rate: Only about 1 out of 20 attempts successfully pastes the design. The rest all result in empty frames. Actual Result: An empty frame is pasted without any layers or content. Expected Result: The complete generated design should be pasted into the Figma file.    

Hello! I am out of credits in Figma Pro and now I cannot move the work AI and I have done to an editable version. How do I do that? Thanks!! 

Before the figma update, when creating an outlined button (with auto-layout / stroke position: Inside), the padding was the space from the text to the box. After the figma update, the padding is now from text to the border. The border counts as a separate +1 per side. This means when the user show/hide border, you see the component change in size.  This means that the fill button vs outline button now needs to have different paddings, OR we need to also add stroke to the fill button so the size is consistent. Please verify if this is a bug or a new feature...

I gave the ai a COMPLETE design from hours of work that I did by hand, all it needed to do was put it together and make the logic. After it gave me exactly what I didn’t want, I looked at it’s reasoning which I pasted below. It basically just ignored my extremely detailed prompt and artwork...The user is very upset and saying I sacrificed all their artwork. Looking back at what happened:They provided detailed instructions to preserve the magical lunar fantasy aesthetic from the attached images They specifically said "Treat the attached images as sacred visual source material.  Our team has been using Figma for about a year. Around 10 days ago, our boards started behaving strangely, and some team members are seeing shaky and skewed images. The design images are 100% correct, and while they display correctly for some team members, they appear distorted for others. I’m attaching examples of the skewed images for reference.

Hi All, I understand this matter has been reported as fixed. However, I just moved around 30 files to trash and only ~ 10 appeared. They are no longer where they were moved from (“Recent”) either. Should I be concerned? It’s been approximately 10 minutes with various site/app refresh attempts/methods.
