I am having trouble getting into any figma board and when I try to get into the board it starts to load but then stops in the same place I can not do anything to fix this but I can get into the website just fine, is there a way I canj fix this?

After importing a figma file in figma the images do not appear in the design.I have received the the figma files from the UI designer. 

Hello,I am working on building basic and complex components within my figma file and I am running into a road-block.  It is my goal to re-design all the pieces to reflow from a full screen mode to a half-screen size.  This entails using auto-layout for components.  What I need help with is that I have individual child frames all together in an auto-layout parent frame.  I have successfully structured the typography, icons, and background within each frame to reflow properly when I re-size the component.  However, I am running into one issue which is that the background colors within each child frame will start growing/shrinking exactly where they started, but I would rather than start where the prior frame ended (after the adjustment) + 2 pixels for spacing.  As I grow or shrink the space, it doesn’t adjust like I wish and messes up the design.  Is there a way to fix this or am I expecting a feature that doesn’t exist? 

I’m the only UI designer responsible for my company’s mobile app.A few weeks ago, we decided to migrate all our app UI designs -over 150 screens- from Adobe XD to Figma.So far, I’ve recreated a few new flows in Figma and shared separate prototype links for each (as I used to do in XD).But we recently realized that every shared prototype link reveals the entire design document, and that all flows are visible from the left menu.This is a serious problem for us because we have multiple teams working on different areas of the app, and some of those teams’ work is confidential even to other teams.I’ve looked for ways to share only specific flows or limit visibility, but so far couldn’t find a practical solution other than creating separate files - which isn’t feasible for a 150-screen, 30-flow project.Is there any way to share only specific flows (or hide others) within the same Figma file?Any advice or best practices would be greatly appreciated. Hello everyone, sadly I couldn’t really find any solutions through Google, so I’m trying my luck here. I’m fairly new to prototyping with Figma but managed to create a hover-effect quite easily:The hover should add a gradient and a arrow. So far, so basic. Now, when testing out the prototype and hovering over my button, the smart objects in which all the buttons are positioned as part of the sites navigation component will change in width. I think I understand what’s happening in theory, the button is now getting ever so slightly bigger because of the arrow being added. This fact combined with the auto-layout just makes everything wider. I just don’t know how to solve it. Making the original button wider is not really possible because that would be a fixed value. I need the button to be flexible in width.I have already made a recording of the issue but I’m unsure on how to upload or attach the video. Is there a work-around I’m not seeing? Any help is appreciated! Thanks in advance!

In my project, I use two separate Figma files—one for design and another for reusable components. These files are connected through a shared library. Occasionally, when I make edits to complex components, publish the changes, and then update the library in the design file, some components fail to update correctly. This usually happens when the component is nested inside another frame or auto layout.!--startfragment>I initially thought that might be the cause, but the strange part is that sometimes the update works perfectly. If anyone has experienced this issue or knows how to resolve it, I’d really appreciate your insights.!--endfragment>

Smart Animate breaks when animating width change on complex shapes while hovering but not on mouse leave…What is going on?Is this normal?

Hey! I’ve created 93 Typography Variables, but not all of them are showing in the Right Panel (on Design Mode). Actually, most of them are not showing up at all.I’ve already remove and added, once again, the variables and related values. I’ve uninstalled and re-installed Figma. Hi, Is there a way to manage external libraries in figma site ?Like updating librarie, swap library, batch replace components, and so on ?I miss those features in figma site and I can’t find them anywhere in this environment

Hi, we have a component with dimension 288*40px width* height, a bottom stroke of 1px weight position inside is added to the component, which is making the component overall size to increase by 1px - 288*41.

When you’re using Figma to design for many projects or with multiple teams, how do you keep your components (buttons, icons, cards, etc.) organized so everyone can find and use them easily?

I’ve been working with the Figma app’s MCP Service in Copilot Agent mode, but I have the occasional timeout after 30+ seconds even though it doesn’t seem like Figma should be blocked by anything.  Has anyone seen the same and figured out what’s causing it? Alternately, is it possible to see logging from the MCP server process? Thanks.

i have a button setup that has an animation connected to the arrow, but when i add the overlay to the button it breaks the overlay.what do i do :(this is what it is supposed to do

I saw another post Whyte font is missing from Slides template and it’s solved literally 15 hours ago. But the issue still exist in this design kit where this font family is used as a Text Display styling but not available to most users.I assume it’s a similar problem to that post so I reported it as a bug. If this belongs somewhere else, I’m happy to submit this there.

Hello! I want to search for sections that I have titled. I usually keep a flow in a named section, and when I go to search for that text, figma looks through all existing text. This makes finding something in the file super frustrating. Does anyone have advice? Maybe a way they organize stuff to make everything super searchable?

I want to create assets in different sizes in bulk. But you can’t fill in the sizes into your spreadsheet. So how can I create assets in different sizes with the same title, copy and image?

I work for a white label product which depends heavily on the functionality that would be provided by Extended Collections.While we have been using workarounds such as Variable Swapping plugins, *ALL* of the plugins that I've tested end up failing here and there -- It's just not a consistent way to work.So, I've been keeping this feature on my radar for a while now, but it seems to have been removed from the "What Figma features are in beta?" page and the most recent information I have on it is from a Reddit thread from 7 months ago where someone claiming to work at Figma said it was delayed.Does anyone have any information on this feature? I know I'm not the only one who really needs it.

I’m currently handling the UI/UX department solo, and with so many different projects coming in, things are getting pretty intense. I’m producing a ton of work, but as I dive deeper into each project, my files are starting to feel more and more unorganized.When they eventually bring more people onto the team, I want my files to be in a state that’s easy to manage and completely understandable for new colleagues.Do you have any tips for quickly and easily compiling multiple UI libraries into one larger file—without breaking component links to project files?I’m basically wondering if there’s a more efficient way to do this, or if it’s just one of those processes that takes time—and I’ll have to bite the bullet and relink a bunch of projects to a single UI library in the end.

More specifically, I was wondering what strategies you have found to collaborate with your clients to allow them editing access, who pays for what and how ?
