We have a graphic with 2 frames that are using the glass effect.  (see screenshot: original).  ~ when it is selected and dragged / copied, it duplicates fine (see A)~ when it is copy / pasted within the figma design or between two separate figma designs, the glass effect opacity is lost. (see B) hoping there is an easy solution that i can’t find…..thanks in advance!

Hi everyone,​I'm having trouble reverifying my Figma Education status and hoping to get advice or assistance from support/community members who have faced a similar issue.​I submitted the required documentation to confirm my current enrollment, but my application was rejected, and I have now reached the maximum number of automated submission attempts via SheerID.​Documents Submitted:​School ID: Provided (note: my university does not print expiration dates on physical IDs, which SheerID lists as an unacceptable standalone document).​Certificate of Registration: Submitted for the current semester showing my active student status, full name, and institution details.​Tuition Receipt: Submitted to show proof of payment and current term enrollment.​Despite providing official documents showing my active enrollment for this term, the automated system flags the attempt as insufficient or expired, likely due to the lack of an expiration date on the ID card itself.

Hi there, I’m troubleshooting building a suite of evergreen ad campaign assets in Buzz. The only things that should ever need to change are the copy for my offer and the brand logo featured.As I poured over the assets from a prebuilt library, I’m noticing that some of the title copy (that will never need to be edited) has differentiated itself in the bulk edit spreadsheet, in spite of being identical to its siblings.  The right-hand column “flash offer” randoms should be living in the column to the left.It doesn’t look like there’s a way for me to brute-force this by pasting them into the proper column. What could I have done wrong to make them separate like this, and how can I avoid it as I try to build this suite for my team? There are quite a few assets with this issue and I’d like to fix it entirely rather than just hide both columns. I am trying to create a workflow for bulk changing sub-headlines, and resizing for marketing creatives. I am unable to generate an editable content/image bank despite naming the fields correctly and also locking the layers that should not be subjected to an edit once a spreadsheet is uploaded with the sub-headline variations. Need some guidance on this front.

Hi everyone,Our product is moving to PrimeVue 4.0.0, and I'd like a reality check on our design system setup.Current approach: we copy individual components from the PrimeVue Figma Kit into our design system and keep them linked to the PrimeVue library.What I'm proposing instead: duplicate the whole PrimeVue Figma Kit and use it as our own separate design system library.All PrimeVue components stay unchanged. The main customization is our own primitive colors, plus adjusting PrimeVue settings to match our design. We keep PrimeVue variables as they are. Our own variables go into the custom folder in PrimeVue's variables. Our custom components and icons have separate names, agreed with our developer.Updates: when a new PrimeVue Figma file comes out, I'd compare it with ours (with AI help if possible), then move the needed changes manually. If the changes are too big, I'd copy our custom parts into the new file instead.Is this a valid approach in practice? Has anyone worked this way with

Figma Motion is super cool! One thing I'm missing is the ability to share a direct link to the timeline with developers. Currently, I need to explain where to find the timeline button in the sidebar, which isn't always easy to find.Would be great to have this feature! Is there really no way to get a direct link to the timeline?

如题，现在figma已经支持motion制作了，我和团队制作了一些UI动效，希望能复用到其他项目里，所以打算将这些motion组件存放到同一个文件并发布，便于在其他文件调用。但现在figma 的assets里导入library后，只能预览静态，对motion来说光看单个静帧无法判断对应哪个动效。能不能支持预览motion动态效果？

hi all,I am having an issue with Figma and was wondering if there is a way to change the default view when opening a file.I have a process flow created on the canvas, but when I open the file, it lands on a large empty area of the infinite canvas rather than on the actual content. As a result, I have to manually scroll and zoom to find my diagram every time. I know where to scroll, but my business user wont know  Hence, I understand that the canvas itself is infinite, but I would like to know:Can I set a default starting position or view for the file? Can I make Figma automatically open centered on my content/sectionAny suggestions would be appreciated.

Hey,I built a plugin, G-paint, a geometric shape grid generator for icons and patterns. The web version is live at https://g-paint.comI want to publish it as paid. There's no Metrics tab or Set up Stripe on my profile (@idanshani), and I've never had an approval email.Fig told me two things: that the "not approving new creators" note applies to paid files and not to paid plugins, and that I should apply through the "selling resources on Community" guide.But that guide has no application in it. The only thing it says about approval is that new creators aren't being approved for paid files.So how does someone actually get approved to sell a plugin? Is there a form, or does it have to be enabled manually on the account?I'm on a Starter plan so email support isn't open to me, which is why I'm asking here.thanksIdan

How can I make sure the finished mobile app looks and works like the original Figma design?

Hi, I'm trying to build a list component with slots, and I want to control the items' size from the parent element so that all items are consistent and container logic can be applied.So I've connected the variables on the size for each building block inside the item (icon, title, description...) then I applied the size mode on the parent frame (list compoent)It works well when I change the mode directly, but it resets the content when using the variants. What did I do wrong?I know one solution may be to remove the variants and use the modes directly, but I'd really like to keep the property more visible and easier to track in library analytics.Thank you.

Hi Figma Support Team,I am using a Figma Professional plan, and I am facing an issue with my account sessions.Whenever I log in to my Figma account on my second laptop, it automatically logs me out of my first laptop. I then have to log in again on the first laptop.I am also seeing the message “Some of your sessions were logged out” when this happens. I’m trying to publish my Figma plugin to Figma Community, but I’m blocked by this message:“We detected a change to your account details. Please contact support@figma.com to proceed.”The only recent change I made to my Figma account was enabling 2-step authentication.Since then, I haven’t been able to publish my plugin to Figma Community.I’ve already contacted Figma Support by email, but I haven’t received a solution yet.I also found another Community post describing a very similar issue after enabling multi-factor authentication, where the account needed to be verified by Support before publishing could be enabled.Has anyone experienced the same issue recently, or does anyone from the Figma Community Support team know how I can get the account verification completed?I’m happy to provide any information needed to verify ownership of my account.Thank you!
