Has someone found a way to anchor a frame to another frame on another page? (So you can land in the same position)

So i made a gif of an arrow and I’m trying to do a component with this animation on delay in Figma: So the first 3 frame that i made in my animation work perfectly. They stretch out and in normally like i want. But the other frame seem to not stretch at all. They seem to just pass one frame to an other like a power point. That mean that when i look at the animation, it seem that the animation is’nt smooth at all. and i dont know how to fix that problem. My goal here is to have an animation on my web page that do like the gif once in a while without any interraction and do something else when its overed. If that can help you i tried to do seperate frame that are not component and do an action where they navigate to instead of changing to and it worked fine.

I am trying to restore a version, but it has been 45mins, and the screen is still restoring. How long does it normally take?

As a designer in edit mode I can specify an overlay’s color and opacity if added, but how can a developer with view only access see such info in inspect mode? I can always add a Infocard with such info in the side, but I was wondering… Thanks!

I want to create a multi-level menu prototyping. But when i am changing to next submenu links stays the same as the previous submenus. How can i make the full menu working from one place.?

Is anybody else surprised – to say the very least and to keep it professional – about the cost of Dev Seat licensing – are people aware its going to be very expensive: $144 per dev seat??? It’s absolutely maddening. What’s worse is if you share files via “View only” mode, the “Inspector” tab getting stripped down and is barely usable. I will say this in the nicest way possible. Figma you’re doing something very unkind and absolutely wrong.

Hi community, i would like to create a plugin which works like a template and adds a specific page structure aswell as already a bunch of content (Components, Frames etc.) Is there a way to easily convert a whole Figma document into a format which then can be loaded via plugin?. I have seen that there are multiple plugins which convert single objects into JSON, but none for the whole document. Thanks alot.

Hey there! We can add STRING variables to variants when they out OUTSIDE a component set but, whenever adding them to a component set – ANY component set, the variable gets removed. The issue I have with this is that when I prototype a component to CHANGE STATE from one state to another with conditionals, it works until I add the component to another state, where it detaches the variable, and breaks the conditional prototype. Any workarounds to this? Outside component:

I’m creating a design with the 8 point grid system, but the font size doesn’t match the font height. If I set the font size to 56, the auto height is fixed to 40px. How can I resolve this? I’ve noticed this isn’t the case with XD, but why? Thanks!

I can select specific libraries under Stroke and Fill, but is there a way to do this for text styles I’m not seeing? If I remove the library under the text style menu, it will remove the other things I need (colors, effects, etc) The page I’m working on only uses text styles from one library, and I figure there’s a better way than using the library or style name to filter every single time I want to apply it.

Does anyone know if it’s possible to upgrade selected staff members to an above plan or do we need to upgrade the entire team. We are currently on the professional plan and would like to upgrade a few members to the Organization plan. Thanks for your help.

I created multiple components using two design elements, and the two components each have a purple outline. (This is not the dotted out) Does anyone know what the purple outline means?

Hello I had a master file with all my work from the last two years that I urgently need. The file was owned by my business email but I no longer have access to that email, in fact it has been deleted. I had access to that file with my personal email but it seems that the file has been deleted since the account that created it no longer exists. Please tell me there is a solution, it makes no sense for the entire file to be deleted if the email account that created the file is deleted. Is there a solution? 🥹 Thanks!

I have a component with two variants, Lg and Sm. The Lg has 16px padding (using variables), and the Sm has 12px padding (also using variables). When I add an instance of the component to a frame with auto layout, change the component’s resizing to fill container, and switch the instance from Lg to Sm, the component does not maintain the fill container resizing and changes it to fixed. This issue only occurs with the applied variables. If I break the token and add the values directly, it works normally.

Hi! We love the ability to use bullets now with our text in Figma, but we are running into some issues with it right now. Often we have portions of text where we want a number in the header, but we do not want the body copy text to have a bullet in front of it. But unfortunately, the current numbered list option will only create a consecutive list if the copy right after it is part of the bulleted list. So we continually have only numbered lists with the #1. Additionally, we now cannot use numbers accompanied by a period without a list being automatically created, even when we do not want it in a numbered list. The second issue is that when we create a list within a body of text, and we want that list to be a separate color from the rest of the text, we are coming across the issue where the bullet will not match the list item color, but instead match the color of the body text, as seen in the image below. Is there a way to customize the bullets to work around this? Right now we use F

Hi Figma team, We are facing a strange payment issue. We are on professional plan, paid monthly. The usual payment due message shows on couple of boards. When we try to make the payment, it shows “Zero” amount due on the OTP page. Last time this happened, one of the credit cards worked, “0” payment was made and boards kept running. But this time, no card is working for that “0” payment due. Also, many times, cards doesn’t work on autopay. So we have to rely on the payment rejection email in which manual payment link works. That has also stopped so we are totally handicapped. This is another issue. Emailed Figma support for this issue 2 days ago, no reply from them yet! Any suggestions/ideas totally welcome here. Requesting Figma team to look into this on priority as boards are locked and we are unable to work.

Hi How can I understand that I have an educational plan? А year ago I applied for an edu plan and I remember that they gave it to me, it seems like it was even displayed in the profile settings. Now with the update I can’t figure out whether I still have it or not, Figma suggests switching to the Pro plan. I should still have a year of educational subscription in theory, but don’t know how to check.

Projects with other names can be restored, but those with the name “.” cannot be restored, and will only be moved to the pygma home. How can I restore it?

Hi, I need to somehow do a task easier, I have a image that I need to create 100 variants of and they need to have different opacity starting from 0 and increment up by 1 % until I get to 101 and each image created need to be having a name that increments , name example Image 1 Image 2 … I need to find a way to do this because I will have to do this to over 50 images, Any ideas.

I’m creating a prototype of an app based on flat images. Let’s say for the first 6 screens I don’t want anything to change in terms of scrolling. But screen 7 is very very long, and when the button on screen 6 is clicked, I want it to scroll down to a specific point on screen 7. I have not been able to find any way to set an ‘anchor point’ and do this. Thanks!

It appears that I have in Total paid seats today 1 Design, 1 FigJam, I checked and I don’t have any FigJam on my work team. Could you help me solve that, I really don’t understand how to prevent them from charging me for something that is not on my work equipment.
