As a Pro user,I am so frustrated by the new version of Figma. Not only did it disrupt my flow with such a new layout, but also its responsiveness is so bad that my page loads forever to open.

Hi! I can’t find a way to make the input bars in an app resize correctly when the display resolution changes. They always stick to their pixel-given size, and I can’t use percentages. Hey there community I’m using google font icon as a font to manage the icon within my project, yet as I try to swap the icon on a button instance or anywhere else, I go to Material Symbols and Icons - Google Fonts select the icon and then from the bottom right section in the “Icon name” I copy the characters that should type in the icon from the font and it seems that it does not work for some of the icons Does anyone know how to fix this ? 🫥

Hello Figma community I’m trying to create size selection component with hover and selected with 5 variants . XS S L M XL - ⬜ - this is default state inside written Labels ( Xl , L… ) ⬛ - this is hover state and clicked state is same . Problem is when I click to XS to select it , it changes to clicked state but if I want to change it from XS to S , both will be in clicked state . It is possible to make it work with only default and clicked state . But I want it with default, hover and clicked state . Someone to help me?

Here’s the scenario: There are 4 companies under one parent company. These 4 companies have their own website (desktop/mobile) and apps and are not entirely similar but can start out similar and change over time. Similarities Some pages (app/web) are similar in structure but the styling is different Companies may start with similar structures but over time may be different. Similar enough to use variable modes for theming Differences: Icons Text/Colour Headers & footers App and web don’t always align in terms of features and functionality - for example: Feature A is available on the website but has not reached production on the app yet and may never be (for a variety of reasons) Note: App components and web components have atomic components that are the same, but molecules and organisms can be very different or the same. If I click a link to open a Figma file, it opens in the Desktop App since I have selected the default setting “Open links in the app”. That seems to be working as intended. However, when I open a link to a prototype in presentation mode, it opens in the browser. There is NO option to open it in the desktop app - my browser doesn’t prompt me to do so, and I cant find any manual button in the Figma UI to do so. Is this a bug, am I missing something?

I have an onboarding component with an arrow at the bottom. The problem is when the component gets bigger when theres more copy added, the box gets larger from the center and the arrow gets hidden. Is there a way to have it resize by going upward? or have the arrow move down along with the bottom edge of the shape?

do plugins work for anyone else? it say ‘unavailable in view only’… for reference this is using a personal gmail account, and I do not have any issue in normal Figma

Hii all! I did a Boolean Variable and defined it’s default state. In order to apply it into the component‘s child, i clicked the little pentagon icon as supposed to, but i couldn’t fined the Variable in the list. I’ve tried to find it under ‘local variables’ and nothing is there, i search the name of the Variable in the search bar and still - don’t find it… I closed opened agin Figma and it did the helped Someone face the same issue? How can i fix it?

I see some older mentions of similar problems but this seems a little different. I’ve reproduced this in a standalone library and design file… I start with a MUI Select component in my library and create instances in a separate design file like this. Each label and value are set by Text properties. I then update the library to slightly restructure the component. Each label gets grouped with another text layer that optionally shows a “*” if a new “required” property is true. When I publish the library, I expected all the labels and values to remain unchanged… but, only some of the variants do… The funny thing here is only 1 reset. The last time I tried this, 3 of them reset. What is going on? (Ignore the error variant’s label’s color change - my mistake.)

I love Figma, but please don’t move my frequently used tools with no notice. Give me the option of adopting new designs when it’s convenient. I don’t want to hunt for frequently used tools on my hand-off day.

Hi there, I have problem with Figma not syncing previously activated adobe font in an already existing project. I signed in adobe creative cloud and also in adobe profile on adobe.com, restarted Mac several times and it is still to working. Is there anything else I can do? Does anyone have the same issue with font sincing? Thanks

Hi everyone, I have a question about layer styles. In Sketch, you can set a layer style for a title, including values like font color, font, size, etc. However, in Figma, it seems that you can only apply layer styles to typography information, and color needs to be set separately. For example, if I want to create an error notification title in Figma with 12px, red, and bold text, I would need to create a text style with the 12px and bold settings and a separate style for the color. In Sketch, you could create a style called “error title” that includes the font weight, size, and color all in one. Is it possible to combine these styles in Figma, or do they need to be applied separately?

I have type variables bound to a type style, and when I switch modes from desktop to iOS, I can’t see the changes in the type style properties. It always shows the first column (Mode), which in this case would be desktop. Any ideas on why this happens? This first screen has the desktop (Mode) active. This second screen has iOS (Mode) selected. The type scale changes visually but the display of the variables is not changed unless I go into dev mode. Is this as intended?

Hello everyone, Throughout my projects, I frequently utilize a variety of plugins to optimize my workflow. Recently, as I was developing an Icon library, I incorporated a plugin to expedite the process. However, as I’m preparing to publish the library, I find myself needing to remove all plugin-related data from the properties panel for each icon. Considering the distinct naming conventions used, I’m unable to select multiple items simultaneously for this cleanup. So I decided to create a plugin to do this, is there an API reference to remove plugin trace from layer with bulk selection? or even better one, inspect layers with plugin data and remove all of them as bulk ?

Hello, I’m trying to upgrade my account to professional. On the very first step, I see “Adjust seats”, where I can see one more account that is not mine and I don’t know whose account it is. Where has the “Go to main component” button disappeared in assets? She used to be, now she’s gone, who knows what this is connected with? How was it: right now this is not

I’ve embedded a video in my prototype, it works great on desktop. But when I try to view it in the Figma app it shows me the first frame, then disappears then comes back a second or two later and starts to play. It’s important to note that it just “suddenly” started to happen. There were no changes to that section of the prototype. I’ve tried everything and nothing seems to fix it. Thoughts?

Hi, i post here because i didn’t find a solution to the problem. For my project I would like that when I click on “1/4 range tools” it opens an overlay just below. Normally by setting the overlay to manual it should work… and yet it appears in the middle of the screen If anyone has a solution, I’m interested ! THANKS ! (I’m a beginner and this is a personal project)

After opening the design file, I cannot click any button, select any frame to perform any operation. The console cannot be opened, clearing the cache does not work, connecting to VPN does not work, and restarting the app still has the same problem. The system version is macOS 15.0 beta4. Stuck on this page, unable to operate.
