I can’t figure out why is there a thin white space on top in the prototype. I have open up access for people to edit, feel free to copy and paste to test on it, thank u!
Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out! I checked your prototype and the design file that you’ve linked, these don’t have white space on my environment.
Is this still happening on your end?
If the issue still persists, could you try the troubleshooting below?
- Close any Figma tabs you’re not using
- Browser : Force-quit and open Figma in a new browser window.
- Desktop App: Force-quit the Figma Desktop app and restart it. If the issue persists, try clearing the cache.
I hope this works!
Thanks,
Toku
Sorry for not being clear, you need to drag down then when it bounces back, there’s the white space.
Thanks for the clarifications! I could repro this, so just shared it internally to know if it’s a bug or a feature limitation. I will get back to you when I have anything I can share with you.
Thanks for your patience.
Toku
Hiya @rachel37! Stepping in to help you further.
Toku had reached out internally to ask about this behavior, and it is an intentional one.
It is supposed to act similar to the drag-down motion on iPhone, where you get a bit of space at the top that acts as a buffer (like when you pull down to refresh or pull down in messages and that little space appears before you let go).
I can relay feedback you have on this, so please let me know your thoughts if this is not what you’d expect.
