I want to manage the seats and I cant find it in Figma.

Why don’t you accept Indian Cards, I Was upgrading to some Plugin, when i got error message Figma doesn’t accept Indian Cards.?

Currently, we have two organizations in our Figma setup. One is organization and another is professional can we merge two different licenses?

In the billing Total Design seats, 4 is shown, but the actual number of members using it is 3. Does the Total Design seats shown in the billing mean something other than the actual number of members using it?

Is there any updates on when the AI feature set will be released in Europe?

Post 31 Jan 2024 Figma Update, the Dev Mode is accessible only for a paid Figma seat. This update creates an issue that the paid Figma seat gives full access to the developers and they can edit the file, which is problematic from a hand-off POV. @TeamFigma can we have a viewer only Dev Mode restored to ensure that the files cannot be edited?

Hello Team, I’ve attached a screenshot showing the setup of my text component. For the Chip and Switch component, I’ve only set up one text size. However, the button component includes four different sizes: Small, Medium, Large, and X-large. The problem I’m facing is that whenever I use the Chip and Switch component, the size options also appear. I’m looking for a solution to prevent the size options from appearing on the Chip and Switch component. Only when I choose the button should the size options be available. I appreciate any assistance you can provide in resolving this issue. Thanks, Vijayan M

Hi, i am Venkatesh, Bangalore india, i am working as a UI & UX Designer in an Organization, the option called “Create Component Set” option is missing in newer Figma updated version, i supposed to work on Prototype banner animation option but this “Create Component Set” option is missing, please the Figma team can add this option ?

I need create Figma plugins like send the data from one Figma file to another Figma file(i.e acts as server and client) by using paho mqtt.

I have two Figma accounts, one is personal and free and the other one is part of a Pro plan. I’m trying to crop frames using command + dragging the cursor. It works in my free account but doesn’t in my pro one and it’s honestly driving me crazy. I’ve already set my keyboard to US and it didn’t change a thing. I’ve also checked the settings and they’re identical. Can someone help me? This is so frustrating, I can’t work like this.

Hi Figma Community My Figma is lagging all the time. I have troubleshooted, cleared my cache, and logged out and back into my Figma desktop. However, the issue persists, even when I am only working with text presentations and PowerPoint slides. Please help, as this has been happening for many months. I tried splitting the file into 6 separate files, but this did not resolve the issue and is wasting a lot of my time. Please assist. Thank you

Hi, I’m trying to create a responsive layout for my design and would love some help. As the display size reduces, I want the images to push in towards the centre however at the moment they are just getting cut off the screen (I’ve attached an image to show what I mean). How can I make it the the images cluster more evenly together and dont get pushed off the screen? Thanks for any help 🙂

What I want to do is that when i click photos button, it opens the photos carousel and when i click videos it opens the video carousel , i have created functioning carousels that move and now they are within different component sets, however i cannot make the effect where when you click photos it goes to the suitable carousel and likewise, how can this effect be achieved in Figma (also my intention is that the carousels should be in the same position, only switched when pressed the button). So far I’ve tried: Merging the 2 carousels into a component set called comp 11, and connect the button and choose navigate to comp 11 but it only works for top-level frame.

The new Professional Plan update feels like a step back. The interface now resembles Webflow, causing major distractions when working on multiple screens. The new spacing function is unnecessary and hinders workflow. Please revert to the previous version. Also, why do I have to hover over “Auto Layout” to see the frame resolution? This is inconvenient and time-consuming.

Hi there! I feel like when I’m playing with my prototype in the Figma app, the animations framerate is capped to 24 or 30 fps. However, it feels a lot more fluid in the desktop app. Is this behavior deliberate? I wish I would have the same experience on both! My phone is an iPhone 12, so I don’t think the hardware is the issue.

I was paying for 3 design seats on my personal pro Figma account because I invited 2 people to edit a file a few months ago and I’ve been paying for them every since!! I would have never realized I was being overcharged for nothing if I hadn’t read that article. Those collaborators only worked on one project one time. I was never notified by email or on the Figma app itself. What a disgusting practice just to rake in more money. I can’t wait for Penpot or another software to take over the market because you got greedy and you trick your customers just because you feel like you have no competitors. Hi there! I am trying to create a table that has a sticky row and sticky column. Does anyone know how to do this? I’d like for the whole thing to scroll together. I’ve seen a few people post about this but no answers yet. Let me know if anyone has figured this out!

How can I select an entire path in Figma when using box select isn’t possible? I.E. - A shape/object has multiple independent overlapping shapes/objects. I want to select one of them to separate into it’s own shape. At the moment - I have to either manually click each point AND line on said object while holding shift. The lack of a proper lasso selection tool makes this much more cumbersome. My Figma workflow has taken a huge hit from this for years- so I’m finally taking the time to figure it out but my searches haven’t turned up anything useful. I would love to know what I’m missing here! To recreate this scenario: Duplicate any complex shape. Slightly offset the position of the duplicate. Flatten the two shapes. Separate them again Step 4 takes me WAY more time than is reasonable with my current knowledge. Thanks in advance, and I apologize if I’ve been missing something simple and/or obvious!

I did search, but didn’t know the right things to search to see if an existing thread was available for this. So I have a parent component, a multi-toggle switch, containing three nested components: In the parent component, I can duplicated the nested internal “ToggleSwitches” without incident and the larger, main component, will horizontally scale in accordance (the width is set to “HUG”). See the outline of the larger component for reference. Now if I place an instance of this component anywhere, and do the same thing, duplicate one of the nested components within it, said component will duplicate outside of the parent component: How might I make the whole parent component dynamic, such that I am able to add/remove nested pieces and have it resize appropriately like it does in the parent component? Hi all In my portfolio case study I have a link to a figma prototype / flow starting point with settings to view in desktop device. My problem is the prototype opens up with some it cut off and the device off centre. If I close the side bar it rectifies. When I am personally in Figma, playing my prototype I amn aware of the prototype settings - to hide side bar etc… which as far as I can tell has to be reset each time you view your prototype. My problem: For visitors who don’t know figma - they are not going to know how to do this or bother to for that matter. It all opens up off centre which is not a very professional UX look when linking portfolio for job finding. Any tips? Thanks 🙂

I’m struggling with versioning components, or how to replace an existing (master) component with a new / updated version. For example, I’ve made a copy of a library component and worked on it in another file, to leave the library untouched. Now I need to replace the old one with the new one (without breaking connections to all the instances). Does anyone know the best way to do this? (Please let me know if my question isn’t clear enough.) thanks in advance. p.s.: is there a better way of creating a working copy / draft / branch of a component to work on? Should I not be copying a component, and instead just modifying the existing one? (I’m reluctant to do that, for obvious reasons - I don’t want to mess with the published version and break something accidentally. And while Figma does have a Version History, it’s for the entire file, there is no version history for a component as far as I know…)

I do not like it at all! Super unpractical, now it takes longer to work with Figma. Side panels floating and it make me nerves. Please give options to go back to old ui. Really it bothers me too much, I newer write anything like this but this update…killing me slowly 😭
