From what you’ve described, it sounds like this is only happening with the desktop app? Have you tried clearing your desktop app cache yet?

Here’s how to clear the desktop app cache on Windows:

1. Close the Figma desktop app


2. Open the Start menu, and paste in this, followed by enter: %APPDATA%\Figma


3. In the window that opens, delete the Desktop and DesktopProfile folders if they exist


4. Launch the desktop app again

Have you also tried using Figma in the browser to see if that helps at all? Keep in mind that in this case, you would need to download the Figma font installer.

Just trying to get a full picture of what you’ve tried since other users with Windows 11 PCs have been able to successfully see their installed fonts in Installed by you after clearing their desktop app cache.

What fonts have you installed and are having issues with? Are you able to send a screenshot showing that these font files are located in the correct file (C:\Windows\Fonts )?

Please do not modify the idea of ​​the publication, it is not “a release of frustration”, it is FACTS.

You have 2 messages without understanding the real problem, and it is written concisely because it is a specific problem. This hurts people who also have this problem and have to read unproductive things. If you are really interested in helping, please contact an app developer who can review this bug.

Note: If any developers or designers who have experienced this find it useful, I will share the evidence of what the desktop app tells me vs. what is actually installed on the PC and can be recognized by all programs except Figma.

Basically, you must right click on the source, choose “more options”, then choose the “install for all users” option, restart Figma and that’s it.

I haven’t marked it as a solution yet because I prefer to try it for a couple more days, but for now, this has worked for me.

It’s been several days since I tried the proposed “install for all users” solution and it’s still working, so I’ll consider it as the solution.

It would be great if you could review the code of the Windows version so that it doesn’t happen to others.
