Hello good Figmians! As stated in the title, I am unable to delete interactions. Meaning, even when I delete an interaction in “prototype” mode, and the prototype line no longer exists, the actual presented prototype still displays the interaction I had deleted. I have tried: Closing and re-opening the prototype, Closing and restarting Figma, Clicking “inspect” on the element in question to make sure the interaction has been really deleted. Copy-pasting my design into a new Figma file, None of which have worked. I created a screen recording here: Loom | Free Screen & Video Recording Software Great thanks.

When using paste-to-replace on objects that have sub-pixel positions the replacement content’s position does not match the replaced content, but is instead rounded.

The elements disappear the second I click on them I can see them in layers and at first they appeared when I refreshed my browser but right they are not visible. I can still click on them and move them (I checked the color and fill that’s not the issue)

Hello everyone, This question has probably already been answered, but I’m so new to this that I don’t know how to find the right answer: How can I change several colour styles at once? I have created a project for customer A, all colours in the blue scheme are colour styles etc. A view weeks later I have made a project for customer B, but in green. The colour palette and structure is the same in both projects. Now customer B decided they basically want the same design as customer A, but of course with his green colour palette. So I duplicated client A’s project, but I have no idea how to simply change all the colours to the green scheme (and also their names). They should of course stay colour styles that are used all over the project… My way would now have to klick on every color, copy paste the Hex code, change the name etc. But I guess there is a faster way, since all the colors are already there. They simply need to be linked or re-linked. At least thats what I hope 😅 I hop

I wanted to make a button that would change color when you hover over it, but “change to” is not available

I use a component which is from existing component library. By default, the color text is Black. Once I import the components from that library, the black color doesn’t reflected on text.

Why does the “Hide/Show UI” key-command NOW ALSO SHOW COMMENTS? How does this make sense? Where did you come up with this idea? Comments has already had its own SHIFT+C key-command. Why can’t you just leave the UI alone – are you getting paid extra to just to randomly change functions?

why does applying auto layout on multiple text boxes, to get an auto-layout frame, CHANGE the text box dimensions now? WHY? what were you thinking FIGMA? are you kidding me?

you’ve changed the visual feedback presentation when user is trying to select more than one object across several frames. why why why? its no long showing me individual highlights around individual selected objects now. instead you show me a “useless bounding-box”-like highlight rectangle. UNHELPFUL. where are you getting these “improvement ideas” from?

However, I would like to know if there is any limit of collaborators (editors or viewers) – added individually – in a project or a file. And one more question: Is there any limit of users simultaneously viewing particular file? Thanks.

Hi everyone, I’m new to Figma design. I’ve been learning everything from YouTube videos. When learning the basics, I often hear that designs should be responsive. However, in the tutorials I’ve watched, people usually design for just one device, like the iPhone 13, and not for others. My question is: should we design an app for only one device and let the developer make it responsive, or should we test it on all devices before delivering it to the client? Also, could you recommend some good resources for learning more about this? Thank you!

I work for an extremely risk averse company and the option to check for updates has been removed for users (Figma enterprise). Here Figma updates are managed so I’m trying to find information about what’s the latest available Figma version in comparison to the version available to us internally. Thanks in advance.

recently encountered an issue with my Figma account and I’m hoping to get some assistance. Accidentally, I added an annual payment charge to my Figma subscription. Unfortunately, this charge has been added to the total for the upcoming month. I’m reaching out to see if there’s a way to remove or adjust this charge as it was added unintentionally. I’ve already reached out to Figma’s support team regarding this matter but haven’t received a response yet. I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced a similar situation and if there are any suggestions on how to resolve it. Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated. Hello! I can’t find my project named “my website” where i was working for couple of months now. I am the only owner of the project and there was one viewer. I didn’t delete it or move to another team. It was in my drafts. But today when i tried to enter it there is error 404. In desktop app and in the browser. There is no file in “recently deleted files” too. Pls help me with this problem. Project is really important for me

I added a vector file (.svg) and then deleted it. But when I look at the present view, I still see those vector images and I don’t find them anywhere in the layers bar. I have a local variable color in 1 branch. It is applied to a shape. When I copy and paste the shape into a new branch, the hex color is automatically changing. This happens whether or not I click on the CTA to “Copy variables into this file”. How can this be avoided completely? I want to copy and paste full designs into this new branch I’ve created.

We are having issues with presenting in Figma. Are there best practices for going through a presentation with Figma?

I searched for this topic, all solutions fail. I am on a mac. It was working yesterday, nothing change, apart from reboot. Apple Mac M2, 32G raqm.macOS Sono,a Version 14.6 I can edit my files in Chrome, but I get this message when i use the app, my suspicion is there is a problem with the Figma server, but the speed of the response seems to imply a local problem. I tried all the suggestions such as clear cache, turn on and off the hardware acceleration, I removed the app and reinstalled, rebooted. and its not the file size, as I tried to open other designs, and all fail such as the default app that came with Figma. So either the devs need to have better reporting on what the problem is rather than a blanket message such as we can’t open the file, and also this is odd, since its not a file, it is in the Figma server which is also misleading. Or have a set of checks for common problems such as unable to reach server, try later, to give clues. in the mean time, I am now using the browser,

While playing the prototype of one of my drafts, the prototype screen just dips to black and just a small square box is visible on the prototype screen. I tried both the Present and Preview options and cleared Figma’s cache and restarted it but the issue still persists.

The email address I used to register my account is now disabled, so I can’t log in to my account. How can I change the email address so that my account can be used normally?

I have a simple design and I want to change swap out one color for another. I want to be able to do this 10x as I reuse this project in the future. I thought the best way to this was to create Variables and then switch modes. When I select all the frames in the design and switch modes to a different color variables nothing changes. I noticed that the mode tag on the group layer changes but none of the variables in the group change. What’s the point of a variable change that cannot change if the object I want to change the color of is within a group? I can get the desired change by individually selecting every object and selecting the new mode. Is there a better way to change all the colors in a project at once without duplicating the file and changing styles (using Styles instead of Variables)?
