Question

Scrolling behaviour working in Preview but not in Presentation mode

noam_tapicer

Hey everyone, the scrolling behaviour works in Preview but not in Presentation mode…
When I present, the page is not scrolling at all, but in Preview - it works perfectly.

Anyone knows what the problem might be?

Hey @noam_tapicer, thanks for reaching out and sorry for the trouble with this!

Is this happening both in browser and using the desktop app? What OS are you using?

Are you also able to share a link to your file, so we can take a closer look?

Sorry for the slight spam, it’s just I can’t add to my prior message as it hasn’t been approved yet. I have been testing it out with a very simple wireframe and I found out what the issue was in my case (no idea about Noam’s).

Nonetheless, the issue is you cannot have a button that scrolls to a part of the page and the normal mouse scroll enabled at the same time. Figma seems to only allow one or the other. If you know of any work arounds, it would be a great help.

I have the same problem, where it seems to work when I view it in preview mode, but as soon as I switch to present mode it is no longer possible to scroll. I am quite confused.
I have tried making changes to the overflow container among other things, but still not working. It is worth noting that scroll works well on some of my pages, but not on all.

I am using Windows 10 and the desktop app.
If you found any fix for this @noam_tapicer please do share.
