Image inside instance is reverting back to the component placeholder

Hi:

I have created an accordion component with an image fill inside the dropdown.

1. I insert an instance of the component
2. I replace the image fill of the frame inside the component
3. I close the file
4. Upon reopening the file, the image fill has reverted back to the component fill.

Any ideas what is happening?
