Hi everyone, We attempted to transfer a team from another company into our organization. As an admin, I received an email notification stating that I had a transfer request. When I clicked on ‘Review Request,’ I was directed to Figma’s team setting, but there was no option to accept the request. Has anyone else experienced this issue? We followed the instructions from this guide: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/10250387712407-Transfer-a-project-or-team-to-a-different-account. Hey, since the update to UI3 my Figma is running very slow. It’s blocking me to work properly, and deliver on deadlines. I checked my internet connection, and there is nothing wrong with it, also my MacBook is running as usal… so must be Figma I guess. Can anyone help me please? I tried clearing my cache as I found in an older topic, but that didn’t help much.

Hi everyone I have question, can I publish a private plugin for organisation ? if I share the plugin in this way, does it mean that the whole organization can use this plugin (viewer/editor)? Or do viewers need developer mode to be able to use this plugin?

When adding the integration between Figma and Jira, is there a way to hide the ‘Add Design’ button in certain circumstances? Maybe certain Jira projects wouldn’t need it, or story/task types, etc. Having the button appear on every single Jira ticket when it would only ever be needed by a few might be a nuisance or annoyance to many of our Jira users.

Figma UI3 Update moved component menu to bottom toolbar. You cannot search for a component directly, you must click to “search for assets for…”. This is an extra click and buries components. The second way to access components is through the asset tab. After finding a component, you still have to select it in the panel. Rarely do I click a component and not mean to. Bring back the component selection menus with fewer clicks. Please and thank you!

I am wondering if Figma can show data of where variables are being used? For example, lets say there is a breaking change in a variable we use, is there a way to show where in any file that variable is being used? Does Figma Analytics have those capabilities? Thanks ahead of time.

Less than 30 minutes ago, I accidentally closed a file I had been working on for a long time. I cannot find it in “Drafts,” “Recent,” or “Trash.” The last time the file was edited was about 2 months ago. I opened the file to look at it and accidentally closed it. Please help me find it.

Templates is kind a shit still. Changes updates don’t go to the files that are using the Template, what makes no sense to me, since is published as a Library. And now, I went to sleep and woke up to continue my work on a slide deck, and i just lost all of the text styles of the template. Then, I’ll have to again, take one slide and reapply all the styles of the “new” template of the slide (is the same template, but “republished”. NO SENSE.

Hi everyone, I am trying to use the command opt+command+G as a shortcut for framing selection, but it opens a modal to access Google Drive files instead. I’m using the desktop version. I’ve already checked my keyboard, and it matches the one I can see from the ‘?’ options. Does anyone have the same issue? how did you solve it? Cheers!

Hey all, I randomly open Figma and I can’t see some my sections or frames on my canvas. It shows up in the layers panel, but it has this weird line that’s suggesting their almost grouped together? Is this a bug? I tried everything (unlocking/locking, ungrouping etc)

I’m logged in with a student account, but it’s still limited like a starter account (e.g., only 3 pages per draft, and a maximum of 3 drafts per project). When I try logging in again as a student on Figma, it confirms that I’m already using a student account, but the limitations persist. How can I resolve this? I’ve also tried reaching out to the Figma team by email, but I received a response indicating that, as a starter account, I can only use the forum or help center for support. This prevents me from resolving the issue. Is there any other way to fix this?

Since the embed 2.0 kit came in I cannot remove all the UI. Example: everything gone, just the actual design linked in an iFrame. On 1.0 it was easy with a piece of code. Can anyone support? When I change a variant on a component (a text field), that is placed within another “main component”, the min width value that is set for that text field in the “main component” disappears. This only happens in the instance of the “main component”. Is this a bug?

I’m having an issue with updating the state of a component while keeping the new text intact. Here’s a breakdown of what’s happening in my example: In two out of the three cases, the behavior is as expected. The component updates, and the text remains as it should. However, in the third case, the issue arises. When I click the button, the text from the original component is displayed instead of the updated text. To clarify further: In the first version, the component is used directly. The state changes, and the text stays as intended. In the second version, the component is nested, but it still works correctly. In the third version, the issue occurs. The text of the original component is shown after clicking the button. The strange thing is, if I manually update the component’s state, it works fine (instead of a ‘set variable’ event when clicking the button). But for some reason, when relying on the component’s internal state, the updated text isn’t retained. Any ideas on what might

Hi Figma experts! I’ve followed three tutorials online in relation to removing the background of a photo. Each of the videos explains the exact same process. The instructions go like this: Create a frame Import an image into that frame Trace the foreground image out with the pen tool Click ‘done’ Select the ‘fill’ colour of the vector in the right panel Turn off the ‘stroke’ Select both the original image and the new vector Click mask It should be done. The background should disappear. Yet when I repeat this process, I can not achieve the same result. I trace the image in pen. When I go to ‘fill’ the vector - it doesn’t fill. The panel on the right, shows that the fill colour is black, yet the image has not changed, no matter the order of layers. Then, when I select both the original photo and the new vector and click ‘mask’. Nothing happens. It doesn’t seem to matter which layer I have on top of the other. What am I missing? Why can’t I get rid of the background? Thanks in advance a

Recently, it happens to me that if I edit, for example, I edit one color, it cannot be published. I still see the blue dot by the library, in the list I see that one color has changed, that it will be published and I emphasize that it is not hidden! After publishing it tells me that everything published fine, but the blue dot is still on the library icon and I still see that one color is about to be published. Then I don’t even see any update in the linked file. Sometimes it helps to reload all tabs.
