I have a Figma file that uses multiple videos, but there’s just this single 13MB, 2880x1620 WEBM video that appears pixelated when viewed in the prototype. However, the video looks fine when played directly in Chrome. I tried re-rendering it at different sizes and resolutions, then replacing the video in the Figma file, but the results are still pixelated in the prototype. I’m seeking guidance on the following: Is there a size or resolution limit for videos in Figma that might be causing this issue? Does Figma automatically compress videos, and if so, is there anything I can do to prevent or minimize this? Could there be a Figma cache issue (I’ve tried ‘clear cache and restart,’ but it didn’t help)? Could the WEBM format itself be causing the problem? I chose it primarily for its smaller file size. Are there any other methods or workarounds to resolve the pixelation? Thank you!

Hi, I signed up with my university email when I was a student. I’ve since graduated and no longer have access to my school email. I cannot access mail forwarding services so I absolutely cannot access my account from my desktop now (it’s asking for email verification which I cannot provide). I already contacted support but I’m worried I’ve lost access to my account forever. There are some files I’d like to retain so this is very important to me.

I want to find all the interactive elements in a Figma design file. How do I do that ? I want to use the Figma plugin api for this ?

Dear Community I would like to use the new beta version of the AI tool. Unfortunately, it does not appear in the toolbar, even though I have enabled it in the settings. I have an educational account and have been able to upgrade to a professional plan for free. It would be great if you can help me.

I can only view files on my Ipad app although I have editing permission that works on the online version.

Is there an AI tool or feature in Figma that could create a wireframe from text? And/or a mock up interface? Perhaps even code-ready.

Context I am creating a navigable Figma board for a client using pages, sections, and frames. I do not want to use prototyping, and simply have a navigation system setup using the functionality of linking to frames. Problem I want to allow the clients (who only have Viewer Mode) to be able to toggle on/off a frame that is overlayed over another. In my understanding Viewer Mode does not even have the buttons to hide and unhide layers. So is there any way to achieve this in the design file itself?

When I try to create a new shape within a group, Figma places it outside of the selected group. As a result, I have to manually drag it inside the group, and when I cut it to paste it into the group, it doesn’t maintain its original position. Does anyone know how to resolve this?

In Figma Slides with a slide which has multiple videos on it in present mode we are having to click the arrow key for the amount of videos there are before moving onto the next slide. E.g —Slide with two videos have to click twice —Slide with 12 videos have to click 12 times Would be great if there was a way to stop this, maybe we’re just being stupid but having control of a build order would be great too.

Hello, I´m learning Responsive Design through Youtube but this option (Contraints and rezise) doesn´t appear in my tools panel.

Our development team in India is having a really hard time with prototypes… transitions that are snappy for me take 30s or even minutes to transition between screens for them. I’m trying to isolate the issue(s) and I’m wondering if the fact that they all need to use virtual machines is having a major effect? Has anyone else experienced this variable and if so, anything we can do to work around it? We obviously try to use prototype features to convey functionality and even files that are created as one offs with a few screens are sluggish in the transitions.

Hello, I need more than three different icon sizes within a component. As soon as we change the screen size, the icon and font should also change. I can use variables for height and width and also the font size. The only problem I currently have is that when using icons that are not uniform in width and height, my entire autolayout crashes. Does anyone have a solution? For example: 46x46 icon + text 100 +48 icon + text 76 +76 icon + text I would like the icon to fit into the car layout. pleasseee help 🥰 🫰

Hi, in the Enterprise plan, in order to access automatically a large number of users and their licence state, we would need to be able to READ these states through the API. Is it on the roadmap already? Clearly is a big pain point for enterprise accounts, and the new Activity log API does not solve it.

I have a component that includes a list made with Autolayout. I need some of those items to have different heights. When I use the component in my design I cannot specify the size of the list items, they can only be Hug or Fill, and when I choose Fixed the size input field is greyed out. If I choose Fill on the list items they will change their size based on the container, so I could resize them by adjusting the size of the parent. But that will make all of them the same height. I need them to be in different sizes. How can I make each list item in a different size?

There is no longer a landscape icon to change the orientation of an iPad frame, for example. How can I do it now?

Does a branch actually “free up” space, or not (since it’s in the same file)? We had the idea to create an “Archive” branch as our load times were getting pretty long, but I wonder if that will help at all. Should we just create a separate “Archive” file instead?

I’ve been having a clear out of our members. I accidentally removed one user. I have invited them again and they got the invite email but when they tried to register they were told the ‘email is already taken’, despite them being deleted. Does anyone know if it is possible to delete and re-add a user? Or suggest a solution to my issue. Thanks

I was trying to find out how to set default color on text, and came across information online about “Set Default Properties.” However, that option is grayed out and not selectable. How do I make that option available? Any other info on how to use that would be appreciated. I can’t seem to find much about it. Thanks

Nous sommes plusieurs administrateurs dans notre équipe, et récemment, de nouveaux sièges payants ont été attribués à certains membres. Cependant, il n’y a pas d’historique ou de moyen visible dans les paramètres pour savoir quel administrateur a effectué ces modifications. J’ai déjà vérifié les sections de facturation et les paramètres d’équipe, mais je ne trouve aucune trace de l’action effectuée ni d’option pour consulter les changements apportés aux sièges. Si quelqu’un sait comment identifier l’administrateur qui a attribué ces sièges ou si une fonctionnalité d’historique existe (même si elle est cachée), je serais ravi d’en savoir plus. Anyone know why this is happening or is this just a bug?

I’m trying to preserve the scroll on a form. I have named the top layers as the same (apply now) which is what all the support I’ve read has said to do. The page that I want to preserve scroll also has an apply now frame but it is not a component. Any ideas? Thanks!

I had several awesome plugins, and they disappeared from the desktop app and the web version. I waited a few days and checked back to see if it was fixed, but they were still gone. I don’t know the names of all of them to reinstall them, so I don’t know what to do. Please help!

I am very disappointed to see that this payment was deducted from my account without my approval. I had no intention of making this purchase, and I did not authorize this charge in any way. I demand an immediate refund for this unauthorized transaction and request the cancellation of the subscription. I only intended to purchase 3 seats, but I was mistakenly charged for 11 seats on October 22, 2024. How did this happen? I expect a prompt resolution to this matter. If a full refund is not possible, please switch my subscription to a monthly plan and refund the remainder after the charge.
