Hey there everyone. I’m a student and I’m trying to convert my Figma design into html for my project but I’m unable to do so. I have tried Anima, locofy, teleport and others but they aren’t working. Can anima is paid so I wasn’t able to run it’s code but for others the code is absolutely nothing also prototype isn’t working. Can someone tell me how I can convert the design to HTML? Hello, I have been trying to get in contact with someone from Figma to discuss licensing at my enterprise. In order to onboard Figma a risk assessment must be completed and I need a point of contact at Figma to set that up prior to buying a license. I have sent multiple messages via contact form and have not heard back.

I’m trying to create prototype for a desktop landing page where a relative vertical scroll relationship between an image and a text box is maintained at the same time as a page-wide vertical relationship is also maintained. I am essentially trying to mimic vertically scrolling on a page where a text and image pair crawl into the screen according to the user’s scroll input AS well as having the image and text pair crawl at different speeds and also briefly stick together. A more detailed description is in the attached image Does anyone have any idea of how to do this in Figma? I’m not sure if it is even possible in Figma with its prototyping features. If it isn’t, can anyone tell me what UI prototyping. I’ve tried using component prototype functions. But I am honestly stumped.

Hello, I’m developing a plugin, and have been able to bring images to my Express app in a POST by let image = figma.getImageByHash(paint.imageHash) and then running image.getBytesAsync(). Then sending this uint8Array to Express/Multer. Are there going to be similar functions added for video? I tried accessing a video in a prototype using its hash i.e. figma.getImageByHash(video.videoHash) but no luck. Sorry if this isn’t very clear. Thanks and love all the cool new features! Is there a way to easily reset a text style to default? When I create a new text field, it usually inherits the most recently used properties - including font family, weight, letter spacing, case, etc. This isn’t always the desired behavior, and it’s tedious to change each property 1 by 1.

With auto layout, everything worked perfectly. Without auto layout, if the instances of the base component are used directly, it works perfectly as well. However, if I create an instance of a base component and then convert it to a component, setting the base component as a nested instance, the different sizes of the base component do not work. Changing the constraints of the base component’s variants somewhat resolves the issue, but the container does not change, leading to unexpected behavior. So, my question is, why does changing the size of instances in the base component work when the instance is used directly (I mean just copy or drag an instance in base component and changing its properties), but not when it’s used as a nested instance? More info: Base component consist of two variants of rectangle (large and small). In nested instances (for changing color) without auto layout (right section of the screenshot), applying large size to the rectangle (green) wont work.

There used to be a way to create a headline in Figma and that seems to have disappeared and been replaced with lines, my engineers first raised the alarms when they couldn’t find the pages they were working on. Feel like there was a more graceful way to make that adjustment.

When applying multiple layers of box-shadow (effects), the CSS code generated by the Dev Mode for the property returns the correct values, but in incorrect order. See image below for the issue breakdown. As anyone experienced this with the Dev Mode handoff tool? Can anyone confirm this bug?

Hi there I’m trying to bring up an overlay over a screen - a larger preview of an item clicked on - and I’d like to bounce that item in from the centre. Can I do that with an overlay? I can’t see an option other than to slide in from one side? I’ve done a really quick horrible example of the kind of thing I mean (this isn’t the real file 😉 )

Hey, I’ve seen this recent update from Figma and it seems you can only assign text property to the text layer itself, vs passing it down to the nested components. I want to pass a component property straight to a nested component property of the same type. The most important things in this regard for me would be: Passing the text property from the parent component to the child component Passing the instance swap property from the parent component to the child component For example, I have a text field with a typography component, called ‘Label’, nested inside this text field component. This Label component has a property called ‘Text’. I’d like to surface its value for the parent component or create a ‘Label’ text property on the parent component and pass its value to the Label component’s Text property Right now, I’m relying on exposing nested instance properties to the parent, but this creates a lot of garbage on the right panel, especially if the text field from the example is us

Hi, having a real headache understand something in Figma. How can I make something always appear on top of EVERYTHING. For example I have a page layout with header / content / footer. In the head I have an icon component, when clicked bring down a drop down menu, but that menu is hidden and doesn’t show. How can I make this element always appear above the rest? Thanks.

Hi there, I’m currently trying to create a window for adjusting some settings and would like to make one of my toggle switches act as sort of a “Master Switch” - as in when this switch is “off”, all the other switches on the screen are either greyed out or also turned to their “off” positions. I’ve tried to use the if/else and change variable bits in the interactions menu but can’t seem to figure it out! Any help on this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! (trying to make the “all notifications” slider able to control all the other sliders)

Hello I am struggling a little bit with understanding to payments for editor roles in organization plan. Checkout screen declares that I have 3 editor seats included in my team. Now my team contains just my seat. Does that mean that I can anytime after purchase add 2 more editors without being charged? Simply: I pay for 3 editors by purchasing organization license and it does not matter if i am actually alone in my team. Other 2 seats are ready to use without charge. If i had 3 people, i will be charged just for one. Thanks, Josef.

I’ve been diligently troubleshooting for two days now, but I’m still encountering an error with my Figma file. Despite following the documentation carefully, I can’t resolve the issue.

Here I mistakenly added a few annual seats, but I actually only need 12 annual seats. Later on, I received the payment bill, but I couldn’t find the operation entrance to remove those seats that are not applicable. Don’t tell me anymore to solve the issue by changing permissions in the member list, it’s useless, as the additional annual seats are not being used by any members at all.

I’m creating a page with a shopping cart icon at the top, which starts out empty. I would like the shopping cart icon at the top of the page to change to another variant (shopping cart icon with object inside) when I click on a product and add it to the cart. I tried using a boolean variable that checks if items have been added to the cart and if “true” the icon variant would change, but it didn’t work. When items are added, the page doesn’t reload. Apparently the after delay only works after the page reloads. I had an idea of ​​creating a kind of listener that would constantly check the value of the variable and change the icon variant, but I couldn’t find a way to do it. Does anyone have any suggestions?
