I’ve created a flides template for my team to use but whenever any of the slides is inserted from the template (or all of the slides at one time) the file freezes up and nothing happens. My team and myself have all been experiencing this issue. Somethings that I suspect might be causing issues: fonts that have to be installed on device images complex svgs animated component from Figma file I built it off of the stock “Light slides” by Figma I’ve gone as far as deleting all the slides and republishing a simple slide with arial text and it still freezes. I’ve also attempted to copy paste a full slide and that freezes the file. It does work to copy past the elements from a slide though but not the full slide. Has anyone had similar issues? Have you found a solution to inserting slides via copy paste or inserting via template?

There is no menu action (minimize, fullscreen and close button) help me for that

I sometimes make a master component of a whole page and then create instances with variations to display different states on the same page. But when I do, the name of the instance is not displayed, and this makes it harder to understand what state the page represents.

Hi, We have used Font Awesome icons in our designs. The developers are unable to identify the icons that are used on the design as it does not show the unicode in the properties. And our design team is not able to identify the icons either as the icon names are not displayed anywhere. Copying the glyph and pasting in FontAwesome does not work. We have a lot of icons used in the file and we really need a solution for this. Can you please help? Thanks!

Is it possible to prototype multiple drag-and-drop instances in the same frame? I’ve already created a basic flow with one component across three frames. Can I drag multiple elements up and down within the same frame without duplicating the process for each?

Hi all, I know the variables feature is in Beta and may be buggy still. Dark mode prototyping seems to be broken for me completely. Although the designs show up correctly, the prototyping components revert to the light mode randomly. Anyone else face the same issue?

Chatgpt now has a awesome feature named “Working with Apps”, and now is available for xcode chatgpt can read the content inside xcode, and provide answer base on it. Try to image if Figma can also support that. I can just ask chatgpt to provide wording advice during my design workflow, it will be very useful. 😀

Hi everyone! In Figma, how to rotate an object for a full 360-degree cycle? For example, let’s say we have a “+” symbol that we want to rotate in a prototype. When we set the rotation from 0° to 360°, Figma interprets it as 0 degrees, resulting in no animation at all. Thanks in advance.

Hi all, I created a looping animation component using smart animate that starts automatically after a delay of 1ms. It works just fine when I preview it in the Figma file. However, when I paste the same component into Figma Slides, the animation stops after one round when it’s supposed to loop back to the beginning. I’m thinking this is a bug since it works in the regular Figma project, but won’t work in Figma Slides. If you’ve run into this problem, how did you fix it?

Hi friends, I did search this topic. There was one other topic, but the learner had no replies, so I am hoping I can get some. I duplicated a frame in Figma to save myself some work, and now it won’t link. Is this a known issue? If I want linking do I have to make each frame from scratch? The text node and the rectangle with the image are children of the frame. The Image itself is larger than the visible part and the frame. I’m trying to export the image as follows: let settings = { format: “PNG”, suffix: ‘’, constraint: { type: “SCALE”, value: 1 }, contentsOnly: true }; let bytes = await rectangleNode.exportAsync(settings); As a result, both the Image and the text are exported. It turns out that the image is cropped to the Frame, but only the visible part of the Image is needed. how to export correctly?

I haven’t been able to use my Wacom tablet with Figma at all, because the Pan/Zoom option seems to not work correctly. Here’s a video of the behavior of this function in Figma, versus the expected behavior shown in Adobe Photoshop: Figma Wacom tablet bug It doesn’t allow me to pan vertically, and both the horizontal panning and the zooming are way too sensitive despite being set to the lowest possibly value. What surprises me the most is that there are a couple of similar messages in the forum asking about the same bug, but none of them received any answers.

Hello all! I’m trying to export an image from a Figma project to be used in Webflow… The image is actually a mask group (a person w/ no background and circle object to the right in the bg.) I was wondering if there was any way to only export the “visible” part of the image… The shape is a full circle but I only want the part of the circle that is shown in the frame… Hopefully this ? makes sense and any help would be appreciated! Hello, i saw somewhere someone create a toggle (boolean) to turn a property on or off e.g show icon or hide icon, and on toggling that boolean, another toggle would switch off. I was wondering if anyone has done this and where i can go to learn how to do it. It would be v helpful. Another example: I have two property boolean switches. One is to show/hide an orange pin. One is to show/hide a grey pin. I would never show both at the same time. How can i create a condition whereby if i decide to toggle and show the orange pin, it automatically switches the other boolean toggle and switches grey pin off?
