I’ve already looked up various answers, but it’s a little different from what the questions have already been asked.

When you create a new file, you automatically add a library.

I want to delete this file, but I can’t erase the file that was shared with the Figma community from the library.

You can refer to the picture.

Hello @jwkim, Thank you for getting in touch about this.

I appreciate you sharing the screenshot. It looks like you duplicated a community file and moved it into one of your projects.

To delete that file, please follow these steps:

  1. Open the file browser.

  2. Navigate to the project where you moved the file from community.

  3. Right-click on the thumbnail of the file.

  4. Select “Move to trash”.

    • If you haven’t changed the file name, it should be named something like “Material 3 Design Kit (Community)”.

For more details, you can visit: Duplicate Community files

I hope this information is helpful. If I have misunderstood anything, please let us know.

Thank you once again for reaching out!

I’ve already deleted the files, but they’re still in the library. And when you create a new file, it automatically sets up the library. I have it because it’s impossible to erase it completely, but I feel terrible about the Figma.

You can turn it off for all files in team here
