When this new feature came out it was fantastic! I managed to test it out on one file and it worked great. When I went back in though, I was no longer able to add any new pages and can now not add any new pages to FigJam files. My “Add Page” button is missing from the menu entirely. I can also not right click to duplicate the current page that I’m working on. Seems like a bug but let me know if it’s me.
Hey there,
Thanks for reaching out. It sounds strange! We haven’t seen this issue from others. Could you try the troubleshooting below?
- Close any Figma tabs you’re not using
- Browser : Force-quit and open Figma in a new browser window.
- Desktop App: Force-quit the Figma Desktop app and restart it. If the issue persists, try clearing the cache.
If the issue still continues, could you reach out directly to the support team with a copy of your file: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?
Thanks,
Toku
Hello, I am experiencing the same issue, the Add page button is completely missing and is not visible in the menu neither in my Mac desktop app, nor in the browser. Is there any limitation for us folks using Education plans? What’s the issue? I browsed Figma documentation and it states it should be available for all plans.
I also use Figma for education and I am having the same problem as Iva and kerolajna. No “Add page” button or any option to create/delete pages on the desktop app or in browser. I have contacted support to ask for clarification as to whether this feature is available for educators or if there’s a problem with my account, but regardless it’s very strange that it isn’t appearing if this feature is meant to be available to all 🤔
Hi @kerolajna @Hev,
Unfortunately, FigJam pages are not available to K-12 organization or student teams at this time.
You can find more details here:
Figma Learn - Help CenterWe’ll share your feedback with our internal team. I hope it clarifies things.
Thanks for your understanding,
Toku
Same issue! @y_toku , I’m not on an education plan; i’m a corporate subscriber with a team. In FigJam boards i create (and that I own, wherein i can set permissions for others), it seems I also can see an indication that there are “Pages” but I’m not sure what “pages” represents, when on my end, it just seems like a tab with a board. I was really pleased to see “pages” because it implied that I could share one FigJam board, but include multiple pages within it–and potentially share a page directly from within a FigJam board. Anyway, in seeing “pages” my instinct was to build a new page in the same FigJam board, but there’s no button that allows me to do it. The help files I’ve found online seem to indicate that there should be a “+” somewhere, but there isn’t (not that i can find, anyway…). Please see attached…

Hey @Brian_Posalski1, thanks for the screen recording!
Are you using Figma in the browser or the desktop app? Can you please try the following to see if they help at all?
- logging out and back in
- clearing your browser/desktop app’s cache
- un-installing and re-installing the desktop app
Here’s how to clear the desktop app cache on a Mac:
- Quit the Figma desktop app
- Open Terminal.app and enter the following command:
rm -rf “$HOME/Library/Application Support/Figma/”{Desktop,DesktopProfile} - Try opening the desktop app again
Here’s how to clear the desktop app cache on Windows:
- Close the Figma desktop app
- Open the Start menu, and paste in this, followed by enter: %APPDATA%\Figma
- In the window that opens, delete the Desktop and DesktopProfile folders if they exist
- Launch the desktop app again
Hi @dvaliao - Yes, I’m using the app on windows. And I followed the steps on this page: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/22380853110551-Clear-the-Figma-desktop-app-cache, using the Windows version. I cleared the cache through the help file. I did not use the Operating System method though. Should i try that as well?
Thanks for the info, @Brian_Posalski1!
I noticed your screen recording is of an Untitled FigJam file in your Drafts. Can you please confirm that this FigJam draft is within a Team associated with an active subscription?
I’m having the same issue. I have an educator (college) account. There is no “add page” button anywhere. I’ve tried opening a new tab, using the desktop app, etc. Nothing. You say you haven’t seen this issue from others, but this stream proves that’s not the case.
Hey @Cheryl_Harris, sorry for the trouble!
As @toku mentioned above, pages for FigJam are not available on EDU:
Here’s an example of a file that’s not new. It’s been open for a few months and I’ve invited a few collaborators for feedback and editing. Up in the top, left, it says “pages” but there’s nothing that indicates there’s a way to add a new page so that one would be able to switch between multiple pages while inside a file. So, what’s the point in having this list “Page1” if it’s not like i can create page 2, 3, etc, name them, and link to them, etc.? Either I’m not understanding something, or something’s missing in the UI.
Thx!
Hey @Brian_Posalski1, thanks for the screenshot and sorry for the confusion!
From the file name, I was able to check on the backend that this file is not within a Team associated with an active subscription. Again, pages for FigJam is only available on Professional, Organization, and Enterprise plans.
You will only see the ability to add pages, if the FigJam file is moved into a team within a paid plan.
Hello @dvaliao - this makes sense. If I move this FigJam file into my team account now, though, will everyone who has a link to this file lose that connection? or will the link be maintained, even if i move it?
thank you!
You’re welcome, @Brian_Posalski1!
No one who has a link to the file will lose access. But to be fully transparent, I also advise that you review who has FigJam seats for those currently with editing access to the FigJam file. That way, you won’t be charged for any unexpected new FigJam editors on the paid team.
Note for anyone having this issue, I found that because I have my regular Free team and a company Paid team I’m unable to get the Add Page functionality when creating FigJams in drafts web view. However, I do get the FigJam Add Page feature if I create a FigJam in any of the Paid team projects.
Hope this helps because it took a lot of time to figure out.
For what it’s worth, it’s a little strange that even with EDU accounts, the entire process has you set up a “free Professional plan” so when it states “available on Professional…” this is clearly something that could use a quick update.
+1 to having multiple pages added to FigJam for .edu users!
I can’t add pages. I am not in a K-12 Organization or student team. I am part of a University. I still can’t make pages.
Hi there, sorry for the confusion!
As mentioned above, pages for FigJam is only available for Teams on a Professional, Organization, and Enterprise plans.
Since you are not a member of any paid teams, it is expected that you cannot add pages in FigJam.
