I´m trying to close my overlay, i have clicked the option “close when clicking outside”, but it keeps showing up the first overlay. How can I close overlay? I ´ve tried adding another overlay where i could add the interaction “close overlay”, but it gows back to the first overlay

Hello everyone, I have a question regarding the navigation in FigJam. I remember that previously, when transitioning from Figure A to Figure B using a link, there was a “Back” button to return to Figure A. However, I can’t seem to find this button in the current version. Does anyone know where it went or if it has been removed? It was a really helpful feature for navigating between linked figures. Thanks for your help!

Hello, I’m trying to create a fade-out effect on an image in Figma. However, when I select the image and click “Use as Mask,” everything disappears. The frame is still there, but it’s invisible. And I found all the images are missing. And If I paste a JPG image in Figma, it shows the message - " An Invalid Image OR Thumbnail is removed." I tried many other ways to get the solution. … If anyone have the solution please share here. Thank you!

I am encountering this problem. Tried every method including ‘Delete detached variable’ in the quick commands. but nothing works. It conflicts with my exiting variable collection and I couldn’t see any other collection under this ‘page variable’. This is not goingggggggg…!! Really frustrating.

Hi, when i export nodes with node.exportAsync({format: 'SVG'}) I am then relying on a hash comparison of the content to know which ones are identical or differents. This works well for ‘png’ and ‘jpg’, but with SVG, the content is different even though the 2 nodes are an identical copy. When opening the 2 resulting svg files and looking at a diff, i see that there are some tiny differences related to float rounding (im attaching a screenshot of the diff) Is this solvable ? is this a fatality ? without the ability to recognize similar svg export, i won’t be able to propertly factorize my images exports. And if nothing can be done about this, are the png / jpg indeed more deterministic as the few tests i did seem to indicate ? Thanks if you have any inputs. Best

I’m trying to adjust the size of the frame to the right sizing but some elements randomly are connected to the frame size and it completely messes up my design. I have seen some responses where the solution is supposed to be to hold down control and resize the frame but this does not work for me. I’ve tried holding down option. I’ve tried holding down command. I’ve tried holding down shift. Nothing works. I wonder if this is a bug. What i do when I’m designing a page and I know I need more room, I resize the frame and then select the footer, click the bottom align action and boom! I have a fresh page with lots of room to design. However, this somehow attaches the footer to the bottom of the frame and there is not a way to release it that I can see. THEN. Once i’m done with designing the page, It’s near impossible to get the right spacing from the end of the content to the start of the footer. I can place the footer in the correct spot but when I go to move the end of the page t

Hi! I love the app, specially the new AI feature. However one annoying behavior is that I keep making unwanted hand marks while resting my hand on the app screen when I use the Apple pencil. There is a setting for iPad to “Only Draw with Apple Pencil” but even when that is enabled, I still make unwanted marks by resting my hand against the screen while drawing stuff with Apple Pencil. Other apps like Goodnotes have already solved this issue so this hopefully must be achievable in FigJam as well. Best, Amir

Now that this option is available to set the underline to something that it would actually look like on the browser, I don’t see a way to set default settings for those parameters? Am I not seeing it or there is no way?

I’m using the Figma to Wix plug-in for the first time. I used the font Khmer MN in the design and Wix asked me to upload the font, I went looking for it and found that the only font by that name when I Google is a font for Cambodian language. I changed all the text in that font to a different font. I started over, entering the link from Figma into Wix and it’s still asking me to upload the font as if it’s been detected in the file. I double checked and it is nowhere in the file anymore. Not sure what to do?

I have 3 components on a page, each with 10 instances. I’m using the Google sheets plugin to sync those 30 instances with 30 rows of a spreadsheet. My problem is that each set of component instances starts the sync from the spreadsheet’s first row, so all 3 sets of 10 instances pull only the first ten rows from the spreadsheet. Is there a way to stop the plugin from restarting its row counter with each new component? (The all worked fine before I tried to abstract the 30 layers into 3 components.) adTHANKSvance! ET

Regarding changing the payment method As the number of people increases, I would like to change the payment method from monthly to annual. How can I change the current annual + monthly payment method to annual payment?

I want to split compound shapes / boolean-ed shapes into their original separate shapes. In Illustrator and freehand you used to be able to release compound paths / divide shapes. I can’t figure out how to uncombine shapes in Figma once they have been combined. What am I missing. Yes I can remove the punched counter via the path tool, but that’s extremely tedious, especially if you’ve got a lot of shapes to work through. This is a simple task in other vector apps…
