Since last Friday (December 6th), all the projects in my account (which is an account under the company’s domain), the texts are not appearing on the Figma board. When I play the prototype, all the texts appear, but, being in Figma, on the Figma board, nothing appears. I’ve already cleared the cookies, memory, restarted the PC, and nothing happens. If I log into the project with another account, everything is normal. What can I do?
Hey @Chrystyan_Furtado, thank you for reaching out! This sounds really frustrating, especially since it’s affecting all your projects under your account.
Let’s go through some steps to try and resolve this issue:
You mentioned this is happening with all your projects. Does this happen both in the browser and the desktop app? If you haven’t already, can you try switching between them to see if the issue persists?
Try clearing the cache:
- For the desktop app, follow these steps to clear the cache: Clear Desktop Cache.
- For browsers, here are guides for clearing cache:
- Google Chrome: Clear Cache.
- Safari: Manage Website Data.
- Mozilla Firefox: Storage Settings.
- Microsoft Edge: Clear History.
Are the affected files using specific fonts, or do they contain multiple fonts? If a particular font is causing rendering issues, that might explain the behavior.
Can you confirm if this issue is limited to just your account? When collaborators open the same files, are they able to see the text? This can help us determine if it’s account-specific.
You mentioned the text appears in the prototype but not on the board. Could you check if the text layers are locked, hidden, or you might have placed a mask over your text which is blocking it from being seen?
If possible, could you share a screen recording showing the issue? This can help us understand exactly what’s happening and troubleshoot further.
Let me know how these steps go, and if the problem continues. Happy to help out further!
Yes, it happens both on the app and in browsers, I already did all these steps before contacting you here. There’s nothing wrong with the source, we’ve been using Lora in the company’s projects for almost 2 years, and there’s never been any problem. Yes, if I log into another account of mine, this bug doesn’t appear. No layers locked
it is saying that “New users cannot send an attachment” Is there another way to send the video?
I can edit the texts, change the font, but I don’t have text visualization in general of my projects, it looks exactly like this, I can change the text and make all the style settings, but I can’t visualize any text on the board, it’s in all projects in that account. If I log in with another account, the texts look normal to me.
Hey @Chrystyan_Furtado, this sounds indeed odd! I’m sorry to hear that the troubleshooting steps haven’t resolved the issue so far.
I’ve gone ahead and created a support ticket for you—your ticket number is #1204228. A member of our support team will get in touch with you as soon as possible. Typically, our support team responds within 24 hours, but please bear with us as there might be a slight delay due to higher contact volumes at the moment.
If possible please share a direct link to the file with the team, and invite support-share@figma.com with “can edit” permission so they can look into this further. Note that users with @figma.com emails on your team do not count towards your billing.
Thank you for your patience, the team will help resolve this for you quickly. Let me know if there’s anything else I can do to assist in the meantime!
I’m having the same issue. It seems like since the most recent update. Content randomly appears and disappears. Components update sometimes and sometimes not. I have concerns about what can happen after handoff. Given that Figma just raised its rates, I hope these fixes are coming quickly.
Hey @Gregory-Danlake_Patricia, thank you for reaching out!
Our team has already made some adjustments on their end to address this issue, which should help resolve the behavior you’re seeing. To ensure you’re using the latest version, please try refreshing Figma. If the issue persists after a refresh, clearing your cache might also help.
Let me know if you’re still experiencing any problems after trying this. I’ll be happy to assist further and make sure this gets resolved for you!
