Anyone add gradients as variables after the Figma Framework event?

I noticed the Framework event went over using gradients being accessible as a variable, but I’m wondering if I missed a detail on when that would available? I’ve refreshed my Figma desktop app and checked for updates and I haven’t seen anything that allows me to attach a gradient to a variable.

Anyone have any guidance?

PS: I am only interested in the native solution, not 3P plugins.

The feature of using variables in gradients has been released for all to use.

There is no feature for “gradients as variables”, only variables used in stop points in gradients.

Well? Don’t leave us hanging? When is it available? I’m experiencing the same issue.

Thanks, I just figured it out as well. It seemed a bit confusing at first but I guess implementing it this way makes the most sense. Now the only thing left is for them to improve on the variables overview window. 🙂

It would still be nice to add gradient styles to Figma variables so you can tokenise better, I wonder if it may get released at the next Config?? 🤔🙏🏻
