Question

How to exclude unpublished components from asset search?

Calvin_Lee

How do you exclude unpublished components from the asset search panel?

We’d like to keep depreciated components for documentation purposes, but do not want them to appear in the asset search panel.

Am I missing something here? How do you go about this probolem?

Thanks

There is no way to do that. Feel free to create a topic in #product-ideas or edit this one to be more of a suggestion than a question so people can find and vote for it to be solved.

If you’re talking about unpublishing certain styles/components from a library, this page might be helpful: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039238193-Remove-styles-and-components-from-a-library

It details two ways to do this: one by visiting the Assets panel and removing each from the library, and one by adding . to the beginning of the component’s name.
