Text box resizing properties

I’m wondering what your use case is. Could you please provide aditional information and maybe screenshots to make more clear what you exactly want to achieve?

You are right, you can’t set the text box itself to hug width and fixed height but you could wrap the text box with a frame and set the frame to fixed height and hug width. Not sure but maybe that already helps you.

Here is my use case. In the page banner component the text can extend horizontally. There is an optional action button and optional close button. I cannot set the text to a fixed height so when I hide the button the items move. So I have to create another frame on the text, but that creates another problem and adds complexity to the component. Maybe I’m just not building it correctly.

I don’t quite understand what the end result should be. Could you show all the correct states of this component?
