List view missing from new File Browser update?

Since the 25 March update to the file browser I can only view files in grid view, as opposed to a vertical list.

Is this a bug or has this feature been deliberately removed, and if so why?

We did recently remove List View, but thanks to feedback from the community, the team realized it wasn't the best decision. To ensure our users have the best experience possible, we re-instated List View.

According to the 2025-03-25 post on the release notes page, it’s gone because they think it’s an upgrade to have fewer viewing options for the end user to choose from.
