All 'Collections' are not published

Akin Senocak

Hey guys,

I know there are lots of topics about this issue but none of them have solved my problem.

It is very interesting because when I publish my variables from my Component Library, only ‘Primitives’ collection is accessible in other projects.

And I see Tokens are hidden and Figma says these won’t be published. But I don’t know the reason. Because these Tokens are not selected as ‘Hide from publishing’

Can you guys help? Thanks!

Hi @Akin Senocak, Thank you for reaching out about this.

I get that it's confusing when local variables don't publish and show up in the "Hidden" section, even though those variables are not marked as "Hide from publishing."

Basically, even if you didn't hide them in the "Local Variables" > "Edit Variable", you can still hide them when you're publishing. Just right-click the asset in the "Publish Library" modal and select "Hide when publishing."
To bring them back, right-click the asset in the "Hidden" section and select "Show when publishing."

Could you try this and see if you can publish those variables?

I hope this helps! Thanks again for reaching out.
