Figma Beta v109.3 for macOS entire screen goes blank when I try to select any object or change the color of objects

Seth_Weisfeld1

After today’s update, when I select any object and try to adjust it’s properties in the right hand panels, the entire Figma app goes blank. The UI doesn’t come back unless I click again, presumably outside the submenu area. This is causing the app to be essentially completely unusable. Please help!

Hey @Seth_Weisfeld1 – we’re looking into this now.

Are you able to use the production version of the Figma app with no issues in the meantime? If not, can you reply back and let me know if the screen goes blank there as well?

You can download it by clicking this link: https://www.figma.com/download/desktop/mac

Hi, can confirm, happens to me as well.

Hi, I’m having a similar problem,
After today’s update, instead of changing the colour and the screen goes blank, it is when I click on any artboard, my screen goes blank

Also happens to me after the latest Figma Beta update. The screen goes completely grey without sidebars. By resizing Figma app window, it’s become visible but disappears after selection.

You should to use the normal version. I also change too. We hope to Figma team fix this bug.

It seems that the latest build 109.3 is corrupted. I currently continue to work in the browser window where the blank page problem didn’t show up yet.
Let’s hope we’ll see a fixed version asap.

…or we can have an earlier weekend, have a nice on 😍

Monique_Araujo

After today’s update, I can’t see what I am doing when I click on texts.
The page turns grey and I have to click outside the text to go back to normal.

So it’s not just me it seems… 😅
Just double-clicking on an object and everything goes blank.

Ricardo_Goncalves

Happening to me as well on Figma Beta macOS M1. Regular Figma works fine.
