Prototype not working on mobile phone/ tablet

I did a prototype and it works properly when tested on my desktop/ laptop.
But when try to test it on my phone and tablet some buttons and functions are not working.
Has anyone encountered this issue before? Any clues?

Thank you!

Hi there! Thanks for flagging this. I’ve gone ahead and switched your thread from Share an Idea to Ask the community, as it’s not a feature request.

To start troubleshooting, please try first to delete and reinstall the Figma app. To do this:

  1. Uninstall the Figma app
  2. Restart your phone
  3. Reinstall the Figma app

Sometimes issues in the app may be caused by something stored in the Figma app cache. The restarting step usually helps to make sure that the cache is properly cleared before reinstalling the app.

If this issue is occurring for a specific prototype, we’d also be happy to take a closer look and try to reproduce the issue on our end. Please reach out directly to the support team by filling this form: here

Be sure to use your Figma account email, include a link to the file, and add as "Can Edit " to the file (this won’t affect your billing at all) so the team can try to replicate it. If you are able to, please also send a recording showing this behavior on your phone. Thank you!

Hi @Ariadni_Beliati !

I have the same problems on my tablet. When i click on button the event “set variable” doesn’t work.

Have you find some solutions to fix it ?

Hi Celine, sorry for the delay.
I have tried item 1 but wasn’t working, I ll try options 2 & 3 and I ll let you know.
Cheers, Ari

Hi Pole,
Sorry for the delay, not yet I haven’t found a solution unfortunately.
How about you?

Hey @Ariadni_Beliati ,
I checked on our backend with Pole_UX_UI’s case and I confirm it’s a long bug investigation. We have reported this on to our engineers for their attention and will let you know if they have any follow up updates.

For more context about the case: 'On checking around online it sounds like other users of the same tablet are now reporting similar issues when playing graphics-heavy games or using sites with WebGL rendering similar to Figma’s. As a result, it’s possible that this isn’t something we’ll be able to improve without an update from Samsung, but the engineers always like to look into problems like this in case we can make changes on our side for longer support or older devices. ’

Thank you for your understanding and for your patience while the team investigates!
