Prototype interactions changing meta data/values of other components

I wish there was a way to let components on screen B (such as a overlay) affect the meta data value(s) on screen A. So let’s say screen B is a pop-up with a switch and some text input, and screen A shows whether something (based on the switch’s state) is activated or not.

So basically link two components with a similar input. I made a draft of how it could look like:
