Is it just me or are the text search buttons in FigJam (when searching via Ctrl+ F shortcut) behaving exactly the opposite way from what to expect? To illustrate, this screenshot shows what I am referring to: When clicking on the “down” chevron, I’d expect to go to the next search result (3 of 57). Instead, what happens is FigJam jumps back to the first search result (1 of 57). Likewise, when clicking the “up” chevron, I’d expect to get to the previous search result - instead, FigJam navigates to the subsequent one. I cannot see how this would make sense, as intuitively, I would associate a downward pointing chevron button with “next” and an upward pointing chevron with “previous”. It seems to be a bug - please fix!
Hello, I had several issues regarding transferring ownership. According to the free plan, only two people on the team have permission to edit. So had removed other team members so there are only two members in the 'team project;. I was still unable to transfer the ownership to the other or edit so I have upgraded to 'professional'. Neither of my member and I can edit or do anything about this file which must be editable since I have upgraded my plan. The admin who created this team project is no longer with us, so we cannot reach out to the admin. Please help me.
Hi!I've recently run into a strange issue when exporting frames from the Figma desktop app (Windows). Some slides/frames export with black bars on the edges (top, bottom, or sides) - but only in certain cases. Here's what's happening: Everything looks totally fine in the browser version - no black bars there. The issue only affects some frames, not all. In the editor, the frames look perfectly normal - the black bars only show up in exported images. I’ve tried: Reinstalling the desktop app Clearing the cache Making sure all layers are aligned to whole pixels Removing shadows and effects that might bleed outside the frame Exporting in PNG, JPG, and SVG — same result Has anyone else run into this? Would love any ideas or workarounds. I’d really appreciate any help 🙏 Hope I explained it clearly English isn’t my first language, so I hope it all makes sense! 😩
With the new update, we have a great new feature, but unfortunately, it’s not usable with our component structure. Exposing all props of a nested instance also exposes props that we don’t want in the context of the consuming component. What if we could also select which properties to expose? This would lead to a cleaner sidebar with only valid props.
Everytime I leave Figma window to go to another window, I get this “New available font: Raleway” notifications. Why is this happening? How do i turn it off?
When I select and drag a slide in the sidebar of Slides, I expect it to be duplicated, just like it would be in Keynote, Google Slides, or like any other object in Figma or other apps. Every single time I work on a presentation, I option drag to duplicate a slide, then accidentally overwrite content that I needed.
This seems like a very expected feature, but it doesn’t work in slides.
I’ve worked in Slides for a few hours now and have run into some bugs and possible quality-of-life improvements that could be made. I think the product has a lot of potential so far, for what it’s worth! It’s off to a great start and I think it will be super helpful for me. Good things The default unstyled slides provided by Figma are simple and high-quality. They’re working great as a basis for building my own custom template. Would love to have more diagrams available in the official library Figma provides. QOL improvements Command + R doesn’t work to rename layers, and you can’t batch rename layers. As a layer-namer this has broken my flow a lot. Implemented Managing the text styles has been a little weird, because the editing features seem to be split between slides mode and design mode. I understand that once I have the design and styles set up the idea is probably that I won’t need to edit them in design mode too much (thus keeping slides mode UI cleaner and more focused on conte
For some reason, we’ve never been able to apply corner smoothing to a fully rounded rectangle or pill shape. Although I’ve found a workaround, it’s imperfect, time-consuming, and not ideal. Is there any way to apply corner smoothing to a pill shape?
Figma Team, This is absolutely unacceptable. A payment was made from my credit card, without any authentication or prior notification. What’s even more shocking is that I never saved my card details on my account, yet the billing was processed automatically. This is a serious breach of data protection and financial security. What if I didn’t have sufficient funds? What if I didn’t want to make the payment? You cannot just charge users without consent—this is outright unethical and borderline fraudulent. This is completely unacceptable, especially since my card is not supposed to be saved with you. How did this even happen? I demand an immediate explanation and resolution. This level of negligence is beyond disappointing, and I expect a prompt response. I have already sent an email about this issue. I expect a prompt resolution to this matter. Thank you for addressing this issue as soon as possible.
Hello everyone, I’ve created icons, all vector layers with the same name, and every icon has a variant of sizes - small (16px) medium (24)and large (32). They also have round/sharp Boolean property. I’ve created buttons, also with size variants with matching names and sizes. There’s also variant for only label, only icon, left icon and right icon. There’s also instance swap for every icon size. I also have the icon as nested instance. So I take an instance of the button and I change its size, then I change the icon - lets say from “search” to “plus” for example - but if I want to change the size of the button, the instance swap return to its default icon instance. What should I do, or what did I do wrong?
I’m getting the following error- We can't open this file because we're having trouble with WebGL. Please try restarting the desktop app. If this problem persists, your graphics card or driver may not be supported. This happened after updating Figma. It works perfectly on different browsers but the desktop app isn’t working. Are there any fixes for this?
I have found several bugs while using the conditional logic. when I duplicate a page, all interactions with conditional logic are deleted on the duplicated page. when I copy and paste interactions with conditional logic, they do not work when I navigate to other frames within the conditional logic. The reference to the frames is lost even though they are correctly highlighted on the canvas when selected in the interactions overlay (sorry, a bit difficult to explain). I have to recreate the reference for each statement to make it work. Can anyone confirm the problems with the conditional logic?
Why this very simple functionality hasn’t been added for years idk. Everytime there’s an issue with payment, we have to enter ALL payment info again. There is also no managing payment methods, or even adding a backup one. It’s archaic for a product that costs $240 per year.
The constrast checker it’s great, but it’ll also be super usefull to have the option to switch the two elements you need to compare, because right now automatically compares only with background. For example, if I have a button and I need to compare the text color with the button color but I don’t want to change the text color, just the button color, how can I tell the tool to compare with the foreground and not with the background of the button?. Somebody knows?
About an hour ago, the auto layout control fields and the border radius field are not responding when trying to click into them and adjust values.
