For some reason, we’ve never been able to apply corner smoothing to a fully rounded rectangle or pill shape.

Although I’ve found a workaround, it’s imperfect, time-consuming, and not ideal.

Is there any way to apply corner smoothing to a pill shape?

what is the workaround? this bugs me so much

Hey @JulianMcG and @Khalil Cader — really appreciate you surfacing this. 💯

Totally hear you — once you spot it, it’s hard to ignore. And props to you, @JulianMcG, for finding a solid solution in the meantime. I’m also curious how you approached it (zero pressure).

I wanted to check in and let you know this improvement is on the product team’s radar. While I don’t have a specific timeline to share just yet, any updates will be posted as they become available.

Thanks again for holding us to a high standard. Your feedback helps us push for better. 📈

This is not a completely perfect solution, but it’s the only universal method. We create a rectangle with the desired corner radius, stretch it vertically, then duplicate it, align both rectangles to form the shape we need, and finally use the Intersect Selection tool.
