Instance text color changes but keep link with component

Hi there, I’m working for a client that has different webshops but basically all sell the same items for the same price. Every week we make email headers containing weekly deals.

To improve my workflow I would like to make a component of text featuring a price, I would like to make instances where I can have different fonts & colors, but have all the prices update when I change the main component. When I’m trying this now the instance loses the link with the component. I was wondering if my question is even possible and if someone could point me in the right direction.

Use variables.

Thank you very much, I created some text string valuables and linked them to all the prices! This is was exactly what I was looking for.
