The shared idea mentioned here may be technically related but does not hold any promise in solving the specific prototype interaction limitation that the rest of us would like to see resolved.
The shared idea is basically like a “web-link” that would jump from one prototype into another. It’s not necessarily related to getting an overlay to display that is in the file but not from the same page as it’s parent component…
