Suggest a Feature

It would be helpful if section and top level frame names would be visible in dev mode’s focus view. (Or at least an option to turn them on.)Why? As designers we have grouped designs into sections and named them accordingly when handing over, so it’s clear for our devs what they relate to… only to find out they are not even seeing the namings. This has led to confusion.I know the section/frame names would be visible in the side panel, top right, but only when you click into them. This is not helpful especially when viewing flows or more complex designs and nothing has a name over it.

Figma Make is the best prototyping tool I have seen so far (yes, better, or at least more time efficient, than V0 and Claude Code for now). It also has an integration with Github, which is suuuper cool. Now… it would be REALLY gamechanging, if the connection with Github was a two way sync. If edited code could be pulled back into Figma Make, for team collaboration across multiple platforms. I understand that this is really tricky, because Figma Make can't interpret all types of code… but I'm putting it out there…

Hi,I'm building a public Community plugin (Bottom Line) that calls the REST API for comment data. The REST API needs a file key, but figma.fileKey is restricted to private plugins — so users have to paste their file URL manually every time they switch files.The file key is already in the browser URL, so there's no security reason to hide it. Please consider exposing figma.fileKey (or an equivalent) to public plugins.Multiple developers have hit this same wall. Would love to know if this is on the roadmap.Thanks,Sarwesh

Allowing to embed links in Behance is helpful but it would be great if it’s taken to the next level. Currently, once you embed a link on Behance, you can scroll down and view the design, even clicking prototype works like a charm. One issue I’ve faced is in embed view the prototype doesn’t allow clicks that take the person outside of Figma. I created a case study in which I added links to my research captured in Google Docs thinking it would take the user there if clicked but anything that takes the user out of the Figma link doesn’t work. If we can fix this it would be great as we won’t have to add images on Behance and my case study could become more lively and easily managable. Thanks

Is there a way to turn off the AI chrome when sharing the prototype in "Make"? When sharing in the prototype view, I was expecting it to just share the screens but when I shared the link, it showed the make file with the AI chrome. Is this a big? Or will this be an enhancement?

Pretty simple ask: I want to move a page from one Figma to another. I don’t see a way to do it. Select All + Cut + Paste is not a good solution as I might have locked objects that don’t come with the copy and there might be properties set on the page (background color, etc.) that I might lose.

I’d love the ability to annotate sections! It’s great that we can annotate frames and even individual components, but sometimes I have different user flows in different sections and I’d love to be able to describe to my devs the difference between sections and why they’re broken up the way they are. It doesn’t necessarily make sense to put the annotation on the first page or element in the section.

Right now, we’re limited to the parallax effect, which feels a bit outdated - I’d love to see something more modern.At the moment, designers who want more advanced animations move to Framer - essentially Figma, but focused heavily on text and scroll-based animations. There are tons of YouTube tutorials about it. The workflow there is very convenient, but constantly exporting from Figma to Framer has become exhausting.I would really like to see these features - which I consider extremely important for designers - built directly into the Figma we all know and love.

I’ve been trying out Flides for the last week and love it for the most part, but there are a few bugs that make it a real pain in practice. Hi,The addition of annotations and measurements to Design mode is such a great decision.However this is rendered almost useless if the annotations and measurements can’t be made visible to View Seat users.Often annotations are used for communication with a range of stakeholders, not just designers and developers. It’s not viable to upgrade every stakeholder to a Full or Dev seat to engage with this content.

Please make Dev Mode Annotations visible by all roles, not just Full Dev Mode seats. This can become costly for users needing context but not all the other dev-mode features. Here’s the scenario: We have a dashboard, with cards showing a customer’s account status. This status can be mapped from multiple back-end statuses, to show just one front-end status. For example, any of the following could be mapped to a single status known to the customer as “Completed”: canceled, terminated, sold, complete, etc. This is something that the developer needs to reference, but then also the PM needs to reference in writing tickets (who doesn’t need full dev-mode access), the QE needs to reference for testing automations, and various other individuals on our team. We are transferring design token names to variables in Figma. Token names are by necessity quite long (they cannot be shortened without losing meaning). Examples: dimension-action-padding-vertical-with-label-l dimension-action-padding-horizontal-with-label-l dimension-action-padding-gap-with-label-l When I click into an input field eg. auto-layout/vertical spacing I cannot differentiate the variable names in the list because the window is not rescalable. I’ve either had to ask clients to record a loom of themselves going through a Make prototype or me having to screenshot EVERY SINGLE PAGE of the prototype then send them PDFs so they could comment on it.If there’s a new QOL feature that’s gonna be added to Figma Make, it should be commenting.

Hello. I’m creating a design sandbox with some instructions for designers. I want to use images as instructions and I want those images to link to another page in the file. Is it doable? I tried doing it with prototype settings but that only works when file is viewed as prototype and that’s not what I need. Thanks

Hi Figma Team,I’m writing to request an improvement to how annotations are handled on the canvas. Currently, when adding multiple annotations to an area, they automatically stack and bundle together.Because we cannot move or manually reposition these annotations once added, this bundling creates a massive cluster that completely obscures the artboard. It makes it incredibly difficult to actually see the design elements we are discussing.Could the team find a solution that allows users to move the placement of annotations? Being able to fan them out or drag them away from crucial design details would drastically improve legibility and our team's review process.Thank you!
