You probably need to adjust the Fill Mode. If the “Tile” Fill Mode is not suitable, then you will need to prepare another image in which the tiles are seamless.
Yes, that is the part I am not sure how to achieve, making the tiles seamless. Would appreciate any help with that.
Create a seamless pattern manually or use a plugin to create patterns.
