In Buzz Bulk Create, every time I want to make a change to the data in my spreadsheet, I need to reconnect all the data fields to my layers. Is there a way for Buzz to maintain those connections so I can refresh my data and not have to reconnect every single layer all over again?
In Bulk Create, I have been unable to select an image layer that is behind another image layer to connect a data field to it. Is there no layer panel in Bulk Create mode?
When using Bulk Create for text fields, I’d like to be able to designate certain text as italicized within the spreadsheet. If it were markup, it would look something like this: “This is a Headline. <i>This is a Headline in italics.</i>” Thanks!
I am very new to Figma and working on my lo-fidelity prototype. I am not sure why my prototype tab keeps vanishing ?
Hello, sorry if the image is bad quality, i just want to know if i can make the dropdown animation display correctly within this frame, is auto layout the issue? i dont know what else to add, i hope the screenshots are enough.
It would be extremely helpful if we could transfer designs from Figma Make to Figma Design. And while I know this topic already exists on the forums, I would like to go into a bit more detail here. As a designer I love using Figma Make to rapidly iterate concepts and create high fidelity wireframes. However, after a certain point you hit a plateau and just have to “old-fashionedly” edit the design to give it the character and finesse only a designer’s hands can give.We don’t always know from the beginning what a screen should look like and we just have to play around with it for a while until we hit that sweet spot. We know it when we see it and we can’t always describe it in words. Figma Make offers tremendous help and a great base for our designs, but we need to get our hands dirty to really make them ours. For now, we are laboriously using plugins like html.to.design to bring our work into figma design, but I think it is Figma itself that should bridge this gap and bring vibe coding
I feel like I have JUST gotten comfortable with the new placements in the right control panel. I went to update this morning and now padding and gap controls, something I use constantly, are nowhere to be found. I’m sure they’re somewhere, but why aren’t they in the place that they used to be? This is so so so frustrating.
When aliasing a color variable to another (img 1), or using it directly on an element (img 2), we should be able to override the opacity without the need to create a variable for each transparency variation: Cant override opacity in the alias: Example 2 Cant override the fill opacity:
I was going to praise how neat the new Annotation feature is, when I realized the content is only visible to Dev Mode accounts. Are you serious? I understand you want to limit creating annotations to certain seat types, but viewing annotations should be a viewer-level feature. Come on Figma, there are better ways to convince your users to pay for a subscription. This is such a crooked move.
Hi Xiaomi users! We’re aware of an issue that means you may not be able to sign in, we’re working on a long term fix, but in the meantime here is a workaround. Long press on the Figma App icon and select ‘App info’ Select ‘Other permissions’ from the menu Ensure ‘Display pop-up windows while running in the background’ is set to ‘Always allow’ You should now be able to successfully log in Here’s a walkthrough video
Has anyone successfully migrated their Make project code to Cursor or VSCode? If so, what steps did you take.
I am using the Utopia plugin to generate steps and spacing for a design. What I’m now looking for is starting small and using a variable or token for say, an h1, but I would like that h1 to be reflective of the clamp font size relative to the frame width. So for a mobile design the font size should be closer to the minimum font size, while a desktop design would be closer to the max, or all the way. Hope that makes sense! Thanks.
