Sharing product improvements and ideas

Our teams look at ideas and feature requests across many different channels throughout the product cycle and it has truly helped make Figma a better product.

With that said, we want to make sure we set some expectations for how feature requests, ideas and improvements will be handled in the forum.

• We cannot make any guarantees or promises that you’ll see your idea/feature request/improvement implemented into the product
• Our team will merge topics with the same/similar ideas to keep the forum organized
• Inactive topics that are 12 months or older may be closed or archived to help keep the community organized and healthy
   

Voting on topics

At the moment, it is not possible to vote on topics.

This is a feature we are reviewing and intend to re-introduce in the forum. However, we are unable to provide a timeline for that.

In the meantime, feel free to add a comment to the ideas/feature requests you support - simple “+1”s are acceptable in this category.

We take your ideas seriously and there are several teams at Figma keeping an eye at this category - some of which are known internally for adding specific feature requests to their backlog on a regular basis.

Will your idea/feature request be implemented?

Maybe! We will do our best to prioritize what is important across our entire community.

This means that while we may not implement the exact feature or idea you shared, we will do our best in addressing the pain points and problems our community are trying to solve.

When we do implement an idea/feature suggested in the forum, our team will let the community know by communicating it in the relevant topics.
