I love Figma and have enjoyed used it since the very beginning. It has come on leaps and bounds since since its early days.

However, one pain point that continues to frustrate me is the decimal resizing issue, as detailed here almost exactly four years ago - https://spectrum.chat/figma/general/how-to-prevent-decimal-pixels~a6007961-7415-4c1e-9430-7e420491c446

Despite all the other fantastic enhancements in the platform, it is disappointing that this core issue is still present.

Even in the latest Playground file (produced by your own team) outlining the latest ‘Copy & Paste’ advancements, you can see the problem firsthand, as per the screenshot below.

FAO @Figma & @Figma_Support. Please can I ask that you look at this as a matter of priority. I am sure I am not the only one wasting crucial time, painfully and manually, checking and resizing everything back to integer values.

Thank you.

This has been brought up before, I just wanted to try and bring some more attention to it as this seems like an easy thing to implement.

Preventing Resizing to Decimal Pixels - Share an idea - Figma Community Forum

I shouldn’t have to check objects one by one, or use a plug in, to prevent decimals when resizing.

Still an issue, occurred out of the blue. I miss Sketch…

Interesting is how it has fixed itself out of the blue, just as it occurred before 🙂

See what happen here.

Snap to Pixels is checked, but the object's position values still appear as decimal points.
What's really unique is that the Y value only drops by 0.5 units.

This issue is still unresolved, but Figma treats it as a resolved issue.

I would also like to push the feature again. I can't understand why the bug or the behavior is still there years later. Could you please prioritize the topic in further development? I can't understand the decimal places after resizing. Yes, there are plugins to remove the decimal places, but is that really necessary?

any solution to this problem??  no decimals, pls.

i find this happens when you have under Preferences for a file Snap to pixel grid unchecked, then you get the fraction pixel dimensions. I do it sometimes when I really need to move things by less than a pixel like when I’m trying to create an icon.
