It would be great if we could select different device frames for each flow. This would give huge benefits to those who design responsive websites side by side.

+1, Need this feature, we have to use other applications for this feature. 😶

+1 need this urgently

Come on Figma! this is must-have feature

+1 Need this feature! I’m surprised its taking this long to implement!

yeah Figma, bring it in!

I’m working on a mobile app with both Android and iOS designs side by side. I’d love to have the ability to share prototypes without needing to switch between device types every single time.

Would speed up prototyping process for sure!

Yay! Another piece of very simple functionality that’s been called for by the community for almost 3 years. To be fair, I only get annoyed because of how much I respect Figma and how impressed I generally am. But I find myself stumbling across issues like this more and more as the years grind on.

Makes me wonder if it really is better to put all our design tool eggs in one basket like so many teams are doing with Figma. 🤔

This feature would really change my life…

My use case– I want to create a single link that contains presentation slides and prototypes with various device frames.

  • 1 really needed please

Definitely agree. All my frames sizes / breakpoints are defined in variables. So it should be possible to set the device model in variables too?

In my prototype, if I click on “iOS user” or “Android user”, it should display the right device model for the same layout.

Same here!

Sill an isue 3 years laters : we still can’t use the flows for deaktop/mobile presentation and need to send 2 diffent URL for clients / présentations

Jij hier 😉 - and yes, agreed. still struggling with this.

🙌 Small world!

It would be better if we were able to set device for each and every flows we create since the device setting becomes common for the whole file we were unable to have separate devices set for mobile and desktop in same device

Would love to see this feature as well.

I’m working on a responsive website and this feature would help me work faster by allowing me to check all breakpoints side by side.

Plese check this https://www.figma.com/community/plugin/1363571066131304729/breakpoints. If this can help.

I wish someone from Figma would respond. This shouldn’t take 4 years to develop. They’ve intentionally ignored it in light of other changes for some reason yet it’s a fundamentally essential part of client review for responsive design. Are they saying this functionality is not important?

Having to develop designs side by side in a sandbox page and then move them to other pages just to review the flow accurately is a terrible process. Frames have to be constantly copy and pasted back and forth possibly introducing error.

I am prototyping for two device screens as two separate frames that work in modularity as one system for the user. I can only run one device flow at a time. Variables work only on one frame flow. Is there a way for both the flows to work?

Hey All, thanks for the continued feedback!

As you know, multiple prototype flows within a single page is a feature that we do not support yet. At this time, we only support one prototype flow per page. You will have to separate out each prototype flow into their own separate page to use different device frames for each flow.

While I wish there was a specific timeline I could provide, I’m unable to make any promises, but rest-assured that this is on our team’s radar for future consideration. Keep an eye out on future releases!

Would love to have this feature too

Hello, that would be great to be able to add multiple devices to do a prototype (desktop, tablet, mobile) in one page. Currently, we have to create one page per flow, which is annoying as I often do proto on the same page. 🙃

(I can see that this idea has already been shared in 2021/2022 🫣)

Probably not a fit for super high fidelity prototyping, but we released a (beta) plugin where you can create interactive prototypes of multiple device sizes.

By using conditional branching (i.e. asking users which device size they want to click through at the start), you can achieve this!

Would love the community’s feedback on whether this helps solve some of your problems (search Supademo in the community plugin directory).
