+1 I would like to have this feature available so that I can hide pages with components that are not ready to be shared

It’s absolutely absurd that after 4 years this still hasn’t been solved. For a collaboration rich software, you guys truly have ignored the needs of users in this aspect for so long.

Add another option in the right click menu that says “Only show for editors”.

Done.

You’ve been thinking about this for 4 years? If so, thats crazy. If not, you are ignoring core features your user base needs.

+1.. it will help me at my work because my CEO (not a designer) has suddenly decided that he want to create and edit designs and my design in figma. So i would love to hide some pages where he cannot destroy my layouts :)

Hi! This is a small work around, but not private, but makes it harder to find the page. If you go to https://emojipedia.org/tag-space - copy the tag space which is empty / invisible.

Create a new page and then it would be a bit harder to find as a page in figma. The page name will be invisble. you can then drag the new page to the bottom. which makes it a bit harder to find if you have many pages. i was inspired by itsgigantic (https://www.itsgigantic.com/insights/create-hidden-pages-in-figma-a-quick-trick-for-organizing-notes-and-archived-content), but the command they recommend only makes a separator in figma.

Amazing to see FigPal take priority over this. Decision-making is definitely on point.

Please add this feature. It is huge for an enterprise in-house situation. It is needed for anyone who collaborates when creating product, which is every Figma user.

+1 so many times I need to share designs with clients to review after our meeting and only want to share the page with the designs we showed off in the meeting

I can not believe Figma does not offer the ability to lock and hide some pages in a file from certain viewers. Certainly the only workaround can’t be to duplicate the file and delete the page from it before you share the duplicate with those viewers. It means you have 2 files that need to be kept in sync, and if you have to create multiple files for multiple types of viewers it is even more difficult to keep them all in sync. Please offer this very basic functionality.  Or if someone knows of another workaround please let us know.

This post has been around for 4 years, we'll probably get GTA 6 before this feature.

I was hoping we’d get this feature with the new release.

I work in a team where everything is very fast moving, so implementation can often start before design is fully completed. I NEED to be able to disambiguate which pages the devs should look at. It should be simply to share/hide specifica pages. We need this feature.

Can’t believe there is still no feature to share specific pages instead of the whole project

+1, this feature would resolve so many workflow issues in big sprawling projects. It’s messy and frustrating to have to create separate files just to have control over edit permissions, especially because linking styles and swatches across files is also buggy. Makes it hard to create and maintain a working design system.

4 years after it still is impossible
