@Josh
Hi, Josh! Could you check this issue?
I’m also suffering this problem and it makes harder to use figma 😦
We just pushed a fix related to the Font Agent for Figma. You may need to restart your computer though to get the latest. Not 100% sure if this is related but worth trying first.
Thanks for the fast action! I don’t have the issue anymore, but since the bug happened intermittently, I will keep my eyes on it a little longer. 👍
Hello, I am still facing the same problem on Figma. It makes me feel tired since I have to write a bunch of Korean letters everyday. Hope this problem will be solved soon!
Hello. I have the same problem. It’s so annoying. Thank you for mentioning it! 🙂
Yes Im also having the same issue(error).
Due to this problem, I waste too much of my time whenever I work.🥲
When using Korean fonts, there are times when consonants and vowels are separated or two letters are written! It’s very uncomfortable. It’s probably a problem that all Korean users experience:(
When can these problems be improved?

When typing in Hangul, the letter breaks into each alphabets (second line).
I think there is a bug in Font Agent for Figma. It is critical for users who’re using Korean. Waiting your quick responses.
+ I’m currently using MacOS Big Sur, Latest version of Figma.
I found that it had occured and fixed before.
You can check it at this link below:

+ OK, this is just the Desktop app problem not the web.
Still have a this problem. Check plz.
Still have a this problem too 🤔 check plz/
Having a same problem here too 😦
This definitely is a bug and I would encourage you all to report it to Figma support team via the bug report form. They don’t often check the forum.
which font are you using? Does the same issue occur when you’re using Inter font?
I am also having the same problem - I have restared the Figma, deleted a main language as Korean and add them back in at Settings - pls fix this issue as soon as possible
Inter doesn’t support Korean. One of the fonts that supports it is Noto Sans KR.
yep thats correct. For fonts that do not support hangul, figma falls back to other font. i wanted to test if it was an issue with a specifc font or if it was an issue with the fallback font. I am unfortunately unable to reproduce the issue so far
Good call! The fallback font is Noto Sans, and it may work slightly differently on different systems (some people have it installed locally for example). Also as far as I understand, this issue is only present while typing (not in pasted text) and only in the desktop app, so I don’t think the issue is related to fonts, but rather to the input method.
I also have the same problem
