Hello Figma team,I'd like to request the addition of spell checking support for the same languages that are already available in Figma's UI language settings.Currently, Figma only offers spell checking for English, which creates challenges for designers working in other languages. When creating designs with Portuguese content (or any other language), I don't get any spelling error indicators, making it easy to miss typos and grammatical mistakes.Interestingly, Figma already supports these languages for the UI/interface translation:• Japanese (日本語)• French (Français)• German (Deutsch)• Spanish - Spain (Español España)• Spanish - Latin America (Español Latinoamérica)• Korean (한국어)• Portuguese - Brazil (Português do Brasil)Since these languages are already integrated into Figma's interface, it would make sense to extend this language support to include spell checking in the text editor as well. Hi!It’s been a while I’m waiting for a feature that allows designers to associate different devices to different flows!It’s frustrating to constantly change the device while testing or presenting a demo.As I usually work between desktop and mobile, would be great to associate different flows to different devices.Thanks!

Currently there is no way to download or export videos out of Slides - only workaround is to copy the slide into Design, switch to dev mode, then download it.This is obviously a time churn, and leaves those on a Collab seat unable to export these. Request to add the ability to export videos (and automatically export them when outputting to pptx) from Figma Slides.

Comments should be available in the hand tool mode.I don’t want to accidentally modify something so I use the hand tool (also to move through the pictures), but it’s frustrating that I need to switch to the selection tool in order to view and add comments.

I started using Figma Make for a project and the UX was super nice. Easy to switch pages in my react application. Now, the drop down selection button is gone and makes it very hard to navigate between pages especially when its not all connected yet. It was also nice visual to see holistically all the pages you created and can toggle back and forth and from a preview url you generated to within your app.

It would be helpful if section and top level frame names would be visible in dev mode’s focus view. (Or at least an option to turn them on.)Why? As designers we have grouped designs into sections and named them accordingly when handing over, so it’s clear for our devs what they relate to… only to find out they are not even seeing the namings. This has led to confusion.I know the section/frame names would be visible in the side panel, top right, but only when you click into them. This is not helpful especially when viewing flows or more complex designs and nothing has a name over it.

Hi,I'm building a public Community plugin (Bottom Line) that calls the REST API for comment data. The REST API needs a file key, but figma.fileKey is restricted to private plugins — so users have to paste their file URL manually every time they switch files.The file key is already in the browser URL, so there's no security reason to hide it. Please consider exposing figma.fileKey (or an equivalent) to public plugins.Multiple developers have hit this same wall. Would love to know if this is on the roadmap.Thanks,Sarwesh

Allowing to embed links in Behance is helpful but it would be great if it’s taken to the next level. Currently, once you embed a link on Behance, you can scroll down and view the design, even clicking prototype works like a charm. One issue I’ve faced is in embed view the prototype doesn’t allow clicks that take the person outside of Figma. I created a case study in which I added links to my research captured in Google Docs thinking it would take the user there if clicked but anything that takes the user out of the Figma link doesn’t work. If we can fix this it would be great as we won’t have to add images on Behance and my case study could become more lively and easily managable. Thanks

I’d love the ability to annotate sections! It’s great that we can annotate frames and even individual components, but sometimes I have different user flows in different sections and I’d love to be able to describe to my devs the difference between sections and why they’re broken up the way they are. It doesn’t necessarily make sense to put the annotation on the first page or element in the section.

Here’s an idea. When I open the variables modal window, it’s wide enough to show the little icon to assign another variable to my new variable. I literally, every - single - time - have to widen the modal window by just say 40 pixels maybe, to just be able to click the little hexagon control in the Variables’ value column. Has no one designing this tool ever assigned a variable before? And no, before you say “open it full screen” - I will never use the variables page in full screen unless I’m fully designing an entire token system with multiple modes… I just need to open the modal, assign a static variable to my dynamic variable and I have to move my mouse to the 3px wide spot to grab the window edge and move it just like - no kidding - 10 or 20 px… it’s pretty ridiculous PLEASE SOMEONE FROM FIGMA SEE THIS AND HELP. While on the topic of modal windows… why is the interactions modal designed in one way when it’s just action, but then it rearranges itself into a whole other setup when yo

I had a page “Components” to manage all my local components. There are some new updates in the main file that require me to resolve the conflicts. When updating, it allows me to choose only Main or Branch for ALL COMPONENTS. But some components I need to update from the main file, some I need the current changes in the branch.

Right now, we’re limited to the parallax effect, which feels a bit outdated - I’d love to see something more modern.At the moment, designers who want more advanced animations move to Framer - essentially Figma, but focused heavily on text and scroll-based animations. There are tons of YouTube tutorials about it. The workflow there is very convenient, but constantly exporting from Figma to Framer has become exhausting.I would really like to see these features - which I consider extremely important for designers - built directly into the Figma we all know and love.

I’ve been trying out Flides for the last week and love it for the most part, but there are a few bugs that make it a real pain in practice. A few things I think would make it even better are: “Hide Slide” feature: Would love to be able to have that variation within one slide deck vs. having to create a whole new one Plug-ins: I’ve been copying & pasting assets over from a draft file 😕 Hyperlinks in Speaker Notes: Feel this one was a no-brainer Labels for Grouped Slides: Would be super helpful in grid view to help organize slides! There were also a few bugs that made it a pretty difficult process: When I paste an element into a frame it never actually goes in — just above it. We are transferring design token names to variables in Figma. Token names are by necessity quite long (they cannot be shortened without losing meaning). Examples: dimension-action-padding-vertical-with-label-l dimension-action-padding-horizontal-with-label-l dimension-action-padding-gap-with-label-l When I click into an input field eg. auto-layout/vertical spacing I cannot differentiate the variable names in the list because the window is not rescalable. It would be extremely useful to have a native Sync Side-by-Side Tabs for Live Comparison in Figma that allows two files to be viewed next to each other within a single window. 

Currently when you’re trying to select variables as an alias, you don’t get any indication of what the ‘value’ actually is. However if you were to head over to your designs/components, and began adding the same variable to the component, the ‘value’ is presented. Which makes it difficult to understand when making updates to variable aliases.In my mind these are using the same dropdown component, so confuses me that they don’t offer the same functionality across different areas of the app. See examples below.Is this something that could be added to the variable modal context? Hi Figma Team,I’m writing to request an improvement to how annotations are handled on the canvas. Currently, when adding multiple annotations to an area, they automatically stack and bundle together.Because we cannot move or manually reposition these annotations once added, this bundling creates a massive cluster that completely obscures the artboard. It makes it incredibly difficult to actually see the design elements we are discussing.Could the team find a solution that allows users to move the placement of annotations? Being able to fan them out or drag them away from crucial design details would drastically improve legibility and our team's review process.Thank you!

The library we are using in our company can be modified by several people in the team. When I want to publish changes to the library, sometimes I would see changes I didn’t make. Or sometimes it was a change I actually made that had an impact on another component, but it’s difficult to understand right away given that you can’t have a close look at what has changed exactly (the preview is so tiny!) It would be great to have some kind of before/after preview each time I hover one of the components in the “changes” list. It would reduce the risk of publishing wrong components that are not well built. Because right now I always have to ask my team if they have touched anything in the library which is getting tiresome to be honest. Thanks ✨
