Problem:When admin remove person from organization, drafts of this person move to Unassigned drafts.Idea:It would be very helpful to have notification about unassigned draft, with Move function, so Admin can check drafts in the process of removing user from organization. In admin panel tab show and filter by name of Admin who removed member from organization. Current situation is that unassigned drafts (with deleted accounts) shows in Admin panel tab with lack of informations (only name, mail, date of deletion, number of files). Admins can't see workspace or teams to connect drafts with projects/ topics).Only possible way is manual investigation of deleted memebers and set workaround workflow during member management.I looked at the learn page about unassigned drafts before: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/4420549259799-Manage-drafts-of-removed-users
It is annoying when I have to libraries connected to my project, but it always autosuggests the wrong library when selecting another text style. I want it to show me the selection of text styles from the library that the text is already using – not text styles from the other library. This happens also when selecting color. This issue wasn't an issue before. As you can see in the video attached, the library I want based on the component selected is collapsed. I want to library that is already used for the object in question to be expanded.
The default settings (at least in my Figma) load a percentage for letter-spacing, but this is not allowed in CSS. For a less avid programmer this may be confusing, when trying to get it to work. Either set the default to a px value, or add a warning inside the Inspect code
Dear Figma Team,I hope you're doing well.I would like to share a suggestion regarding the prototype experience in Figma, specifically within the presentation view.Currently, when presenting a prototype, if we need to adjust settings such as selecting or changing the mock device frame, we are required to switch back to the workspace. This interrupts the flow of presentation and affects the overall seamless experience—especially during client demos or usability reviews. It would be incredibly helpful if prototype settings (like device frame selection and related display options) could also be accessible directly within the presentation window or tab. This would allow designers to make quick adjustments on the go without leaving presentation mode, making the experience smoother and more efficient.Such an enhancement would greatly improve usability and streamline workflows for designers who frequently present interactive prototypes.Thank you for considering this suggestion. I truly apprecia
Can we have it so there is an option in settings which would automatically activate Mirror instead of having the user tap some button to activate it?I use the Mirror feature 99% of the time that I’m using the Figma Mobile app - I know I’m not alone. It’s getting pretty tiring tapping on the little “Mirror” button in the notice every time, or in the nav. Wish it would just automatically switch to Mirror if I wanted it to.
I just want to copy a single section I need on Figma Make instead of the whole site which is taking longer time and many layout errors occurring (lacking of UI elements, especially the animated elements)
There are several collections hidden behind the expand buttons without any clear indication in the UI.It took me a few minutes to find hidden collections. It’d be great to add more affordance somewhere so that a new team member knows there are hidden collections under “Variables” window.
the type of connectors is not enough for creating an Entity Relationship Diagram. The One-to-One , One-to-Many and Many-to-Many connector heads should be added too.
How to send or import multiple frames to Figma Make from a Figma Design file?It seems that it is possible to send one frame to Figma Make and it will create a new Figma Make file from that one frame. However, when multiple frames are selected (e.g. different screens of the same prototype) then the “Send to Figma Make” option disappears.I can also see an option to Import from Figma, but the interface for this is terrible when you have thousands of Figma Design files in your enterprise and they each have multiple components within them. Worse still, it seems you cannot import a frame, only components that have been published. Is there something I could be doing differently that would make it easier to import multiple frames from a Figma Design file into the same Figma Make file? As a designerI want to be able to import multiple frames into Figma MakeSo that I have an interactive prototype of what I have designedGiven I have multiple screens designedWhen I select those multiple screensThen
FigJam is great, and the open session feature is so helpful 😍 However, after running several workshops with first-time FigJam users, I think it’d be even more helpful in a few ways: Onboarding new users: This could be done in one of a few ways: Create an up-to-date template discrete How-To sections (eg, How to zoom, How to create a sticky). Make it easy to remove parts if it gets too detailed for your audience. I know other there are templates with great instructions in them, but they’re all out-of-sync and embedded in other templates. Might as well make it’s own thing and keep it up-to-date. Better option: Create a tour that guides new users around the interface very briefly, focusing on moving around, stickies and following a spotlight. Non-editable sections: Having first-time users able to edit, move or delete entire sections is a bit horrifying. The other day, a user (their first time ever seeing FigJam) accidentally deleted an entire section by accident because they ha
I saw that C# isn’t currently available in the list of recognizable Code Block languages. If possible, adding it would be greatly appreciated!
Components in my Figma style guide are named to match our Android Studio UI library conventions, which helps developers, but makes searching feel unintuitive for designers. It would be great to support two distinct name fields per component: a designer-friendly display name for search and browsing, and a developer name that maps to the code library. This would let both sides work in their native language without compromise.
Frequently, when facilitating a workshop in FigJam, it is necessary to gather open and honest feedback from attendees, such as during a retrospective/health check. In other tools, such as Miro, it is possible for people to provide opinions and vote on topics anonymously. Anonymity really helps to get people to express themselves and thus get the most constructive engagement. Having moved from Miro to FigJam the lack of this feature has proven really problematic and decreases the value we can get from the tool. There are some plug-ins that provide a limited version of this, however they require manually selecting each instance of the plug-in and selecting to reveal results, which is really inefficient and often for my purposes, unworkable as a solution.
The latest update is erasing my color styles. This is ridiculous—what's the point of releasing updates that don't work????? I'm fed up. Why???????
The new slots feature is awesome, and has been super helpful for my team. I have, however, run into a recurring issue. The outermost frame for a component can’t be a slot. If you have a slot it has to be a child of the component. This can cause some annoyance if I have a super simple thing where the only element in a component is a slot. With this I have to add auto-layout the component itself and add auto-layout to the slot, which is redundant. It can also cause problems because if I want to change the alignment of an auto-layout element, I have to make sure I’m clicking the correct one since there are two.Component layer which only has a slot child layer.
Loving the addition of CMS to Figma Sites, however the options to add components or component instances to the CMS from a Design System would be incredible for using CMS for Design system documentation. Currently the title, rich text, link and image options are great but taking this to the next level with components would completely eliminate the need for 3rd party documentation platforms.
I believe it would be great to have the ability to create sections or pages within a Figma Buzz File. While I appreciate the ease of using the rows, I would greatly value the option to have distinct columns or sections dedicated to different campaigns within a single file.
We could have a “Update and show next” button near “Update instance” button that would significantly improve usability by allowing users to apply the update, briefly review it, and automatically move to the next item without extra navigation (I mean having to click the (>) button). It would be important to ensure that updates do not result in the loss of texts and icons, nor cause the appearance of components that were not intentionally selected. According to the design system team, Figma may sometimes lose component IDs depending on the type of update applied to the design system, which can lead to these issues. I would love if we could move over the file every time I navigate to the next component so I can see it in it’s real place without having to click thebutton. The problem I see here is, in a lot of situations components to be updated are actually hidden elements so, when the canvas navigate to it, I can only see the “selection box” but not the real component (Since it’s hidd
Hi all,Have you considered adding a feature to the auto layout “gap” feature that could allow a user to set a minimum gap i.e. 8px and a maximum gap i.e. 40px?I’ve recently needed this function for building bar graphs. I need to make them responsive without getting too small and overlapping on each other or too big when expanded.
Howdy, I’m a noob with dumb question. Where’s the dark theme mentioned on https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/5576781786647-Change-themes-in-Figma ? “Actions menu” doesn’t contain any of these: “Use dark mode”, “Use light mode”, “Use system theme”.And why should I, dumb user, even search this essential feature somewhere in sub-sub menus? Can you even find it yourself, intuitively, while your eyeballs are on fire?“Color profile” is not what I needed.
Please! Add padding between scroll bar and icons in the design side panel. Auto layout icon especially. I keep accidentally triggering the scrollbar when I try to click the icon. Can we add 8px or 12px of padding?
Hi Figma team,I wanted to share some feedback based on my experience using the Organization plan, specifically around Dev seats, billing transparency, and external collaboration.1. Dev Seat Pricing vs Actual Charge (Proration Confusion)On the pricing page, a Dev seat is clearly listed as $25/month. However, when attempting to add a Dev seat, the upcoming invoice shows a charge of $175.89.While I understand this is likely due to prorated billing until the end of the billing cycle, this is not clearly communicated in the UI.Issue: The pricing page sets an expectation of a simple monthly cost The invoice shows a significantly higher amount without a clear breakdown Users are left confused and unsure if this is an error Suggestion: Show a clear cost breakdown before confirmation: Monthly price Proration period (e.g., “7 months remaining in billing cycle”) Total calculated cost Add a tooltip or inline explanation explaining why the price differs from $25 2. Lack of Cost
As the Admin in Figma I’m getting Dev or Collabseat requests frequently which are unintented. Figma makes it too easy for the people to request for a payed seat. This is a dark pattern and I do not expect this to see in such a business application. It’s very annoiny since I always need to double check if the request was intentionally (it never was until now). I expect figma to change that behavior. It cannot be that the most prominent button for a viewer is the “request” button.
If you’re looking for dependable scientific instruments with international delivery options, check out ADAS Instruments (https://adasinstrumentsonline.com/). They offer a wide range of lab equipment — from analytical instruments to educational science tools — with detailed product descriptions and support. Their site makes it easy to compare items and place orders directly.
I would like to add images from my computer to Figma Make without prompting AI. I’d like to add it in manually as this would be much faster (and save the planet from burning GPUs).Is there a way to easily do this with code at the moment? Is this a feature Figma is working on?
