Does anyone know of a way to prototype using haptics in Figma? Is there a way? I want to simulate having VoiceOver turned on in the Accessibility settings of the iPhone for testing. I have never seen a way to use haptics with prototyping. Does anyone happen to know of a way to do this or do you need something coded to test this?

I’d love to see two improvements to the Layers panel:Custom default frame name – Instead of every new frame being named “Frame”, it would be great if we could set our own default (e.g. “div”, “container”, etc.) in the settings. Auto layer name formatting – Add a setting to auto-rename layers using a chosen case style: camelCase, snake_case, kebab-case, PascalCase, etc. Would be super helpful for dev handoff and keeping files clean and consistent.

While making assets, i use colours from colour styles in Library, but while adding a shadow i need the colour to be from the colour styles, but the Option of Colour Styles from Library is not available in the effects colours option, only Variable colours.  would like to have the option to select from colour styles for Effects.

Hi I’m Sungjun, Product Designer in South Korea.After watching the Figma Site presentation, I came across something really interesting. As shown in the screenshot, it seems that different Text Styles can be applied based on breakpoints!I was surprised and immediately checked the Figma design file, but I couldn’t find the feature there. It appears to be available only on the Figma Site, not within the Figma design tool itself. Do you have any plans to bring this feature to the Figma design tool as well?  

I hope Figma adds support for flat angle adjustment. Currently, this kind of graphics does not support auto layout and the drawing is not standard.

Colour panels for fill and stroke- I frequently change opacity and colour by hex codeMaking this one additional click is frustrating   

Currently there is no way to change bullets to a numbered list without manually going through and adding the numbers yourself. This seems like a simple option that could be added by making it a dropdown and allowing the user to select bullet styles. Context: I am working on a heuristic evaluation with fellow product designers. Unfortunately we are in a position where we have hundreds of bulleted lists within tables, and we need to show that comments in one column related to comments in another column (columns: problem, recommendation, rating). Seemingly the best way to do this is to number the comments in each column.

I feel like for most personal websites, Figma (with breakpoints to help with responsiveness) is the only tool you need. You can view videos, photo, make galleries-the customization for no-code creators is all there. I would gladly pay to have my Figma prototypes open to my custom.com, especially to show off projects I am working on. Add a special SEO section and maybe some “web components” to embed video URLs or to add a form, and bing bang boom. Now truly anyone can have a custom website. (Even for those who don’t understand responsiveness, Fit to screen and fit to width can fill a lot of needs for many!)

Hello, I use branches to develop new features. I often need to share these links publicly for user testing but currently, Figma does not allow public links from branches.Our organization does have public links with passwords enabled in most workspaces, but that doesn’t extend to branches off of files in those workspaces.If there’s a quick solution that I’m missing, I’m definitely open. Otherwise, I’d love to see this added in future versions.

I couldn’t find any option to control z-index in Figma Sites. Will this be supported in the future?This is a must-have feature.

I would love it if I didn’t have to use Adobe Acrobat to create links in my PDF designs. It would be great if the PDF export feature would look at the clickable prototype settings on shapes and render those within the PDF, so if I create a button that links to a frame in the multi-age PDF or to an external website  those work without having to dive into Adobe products!

Like stated, two years ago in this post that somehow got zero traction, Figma still lacks an important feature. One that I think is paramount to the direction that they are moving in with more and more functionality for Auto Layout, and especially grids.Can we please get a feature that allows users to designate a focal point on the image so that when it’s set to fill in layouts that are using the auto layout feature, the image crops accordingly. This would allow images to be much more flexible and powerful in layouts. As the previous post states, Wix.com has this feature, so it’s not some pipe dream that designers are asking for.

I’m not using it at all but it distracts and takes a lot of working space. Is is completely unnecessary placed there. Make it customiseable and optional

Currently, we can choose from three options for the list.Lines one below the other, with no markers on the left. An ordered list with numbers. Unordered list starting with a filled circle.In CSS, there are many more possibilities for formatting lists (ordered and unordered). However, my question concerns an unordered list where we can specify our own bullet image using "list-style-image: url('file-name.svg');".Currently, I have a workaround using a component arranged in autolayout. This worked great in Figma projects, but it no longer works in Figma Buzz. Each new line of my list is recognized as a different text variable. This wouldn't be a problem if you could remove or add sub-items in a template prepared for Figma Buzz, but you can't. It would make working on templates in Figma Buzz much easier if Figma implemented the remaining options available in CSS in the future. It might be a good idea to add another menu option in the "type settings" section. Currently, it’s difficult to distribute the column width equally. There should be a shortcut for that. It should cover both vertical and horizontal distribution imo.

Hi,I am trying to use the new function “GRID” into AutoLayout setting.AS you can see from my image, the component “SIMBOLO” is made by 9 circles, I can easily set the padding between them, and it’s ok. But WHY does the height not fit to the contents?I cannot set HUG contents both. on Height nor Width.This cause a problem in using the istance for misalignment in over-nesting autolayout, as an example. Thank you for the attentionHave a good weekend!

Use caseAdding annotations to a design system to highlight component documentation, export settings, rules etc can be a super powerful use of this tool. When used as instances across multiple files, you can quickly shift+y to check things specific to that module. Solution Allow annotations to be tethered to a published component that will appear on all it’s instances across other files.

what if we can combine 2 style that is both text style and color styleas when i repeat use of a style of both color and text i need to to select seperatly both the stylewhat if we can just add color to our text style and use which ever element we want?!

I would like to see a new property for boolean or the ability to customize states. For example, if I need to use different icon states in a variable component, as in the screenshot. Now we are using a crutch - we are creating several booleans for different states of icon. 

I really don’t appreciate having popups and blinking widgets to switch to dev mode, especially since I’ve multiple times closed such things already.

When I create a color style with a solid color, I have to break the color style to add opacity. I work in areas where I just need to play around with different opacities before I decide the final direction. It would be nice to have the options available to add opacity on a color style and also Blend mode options.
