Set text columns in Figma Design and Slides

There doesn’t appear to be anyway to set text to be multi columns in Figma Slides. I know there are plug-ins to create the effect, however these still don’t allow the text to overflow into the next column.

It’s a very common feature across other presentation tools like Keynote and Powerpoint, anyone know a fool-proof work around so I can add it into our company templates?

Hi @HayleyC, thanks for the feedback!

I confirmed with our Figma Slides team that this isn’t currently possible, and there isn’t even a way to do this in Figma Design.

As a temporary solution, you would need to make a layout grid and manually position the text blocks or use auto layout.

I’ve updated your topic into a feature request, so our team can monitor how this missing capability is affecting the community. With enough feedback, we’ll be able to better advocate to have this feature implemented in the future.
