Hi Figma Team,I absolutely love using Figjam for brainstorming, User journey mapping and creating User flow diagrams—it’s an essential part of my design workflow. However, I often find myself switching back to Figma just to check spacing and alignment when I want to ensure everything is precise. It would be incredibly helpful to have a space checker or spacing measurement tool available in Figjam as well. This would allow designers like me to quickly verify distances between elements without leaving the Figjam. It’s a small addition that would go a long way in helping us design more confidently and keep things pixel-perfect—especially during early-stage design discussions and low-fidelity mockups.
Request:Please enable number variables like corner radius to swap properly across libraries — just like color variables do.Problem:Even when number variables (e.g., corner-radius-sm) are named and structured the same in two libraries, Figma does not swap them automatically. This breaks consistency and forces manual rework. Why it matters:Design systems rely on tokenized values (like spacing, radius, and elevation). Not being able to swap them across libraries limits scalability for multi-brand or multi-theme systems.Suggestion:Make number variables resolve across libraries by matching variable names and types — the same way color variables already work.

Letter-spacing values declared in % in Design mode should be represented in em in Dev mode, instead of px or rem. em units are relative to the font size, whereas px and rem are not.For example, a letter-spacing value of 2% should be represented in CSS as .02em. (You can’t declare letter-spacing in % units in CSS, so this is why we must use em.)Currently, when you view the code in Dev Mode, the only unit options you are given are rem or px, which are two static units, not relative units. This means you end up outputting random values like “letter-spacing: 0.1125rem;” which doesn’t scale relative to your font size on the front-end.This causes many headaches for me and my developers. Would love to see this updated! 🙏
Now I can’t distribute objects evenly when selecting them all, but I used to be able to. It was really helpful when making tables.
I noticed this link label when I attached the link to a section in my Figma Design file, and thought that it might be good to only have this link show up if the linked file does have interaction noodle links or is indicated as a prototype. This integration might need some update since the launch of Sections in Figma.
It’s kinda ridiculous. Why not nest these panels together? It takes up my whole laptop screen, and I have a large laptop. It’s super confusing every time I want to change an option, I have to go through all these panels to get what I need. Really needs redesigning. Please fix. And please add a color option for text styles. Why do I have to make a component or variable for everything?
When I used the color picker tool in the colors menu in Figma Slides when I had a shape selected, the fill color switched instead of the border color.
The current limitation makes no sense. It's super annoying and problematic. Just allow it like how it’s possible in a Figma Design file.
Many times you have a very complex parent component (like a side nav) where it is hard to tell what component is what when they are nested instances. It would be great to be able to name sections or some identifier of what property controls go with what piece of the component. Example of large component attached (collapsed sections and expanded). You can see how it is hard to know what controls what. Thanks!
I’ve been working on a photobook project and i really hate the app called scribus, so i want to use figma slide for a replacement. I haven’t worked with figma slide a lot but i think we could have some feature such asLinking Textbox for displaying text in two seperate coloumn Page number on the left side for left pages, and on the right side for right pages. (autometically adjust them when adding a new page) create new slidw based on a template layout (like google slides) and be able to adjust the template slides Layout guide for margins and text area Adjustable slide sizes (i think someone already metioned it) (Maybe) have something for editing pictures brightness like how it is in design files some shotcut in the design files (K for scaling) Some way to export the slides to pdf or png or jpegI really love using design and figjam and it is really painful to use scribus, but it has some feature figma doesn’t have right now so i have to use it (like checking dpi). I understand that th
Describe the problem your experiencing and how your idea helps solve this I’m getting the yellow warning banner about memory usage and it’s disrupting. I guess the warning is helpful though at 50% of memory used it doesn’t really seem like that’s almost out of memory. I wouldn’t mind it as much if there was a way to easily dismiss it instead of having to reload the tab every time it appears. An “x” to close would be good enough. Add as much context as possible (screenshots, Figma files, mockups, etc.) — Ask questions to bring the community into the conversation (e.g. Does anyone else experience this? Is anyone using a plugin or workaround to help solve this?, etc. Anyone else find this disruptive? If you could dismiss it, when would you want it to reappear (e.g. never, each time you open the file, at a set usage amount, etc.)?
Hello Figma Comunity, Recently, Figma Support and I found out that the font manager Font Base is not supported by the Figma font agent and Figma itself. Font Base is a font manager you can install on your computer that lets you: Organize and manage your project fonts very easily and visually Install and uninstalling fonts quickly Testing fonts within the program without installing the fonts on your device Many other features you can check on their website. I believe it would be a great idea to implement this since a lot of designers like me like to use font managers such as Font Base to organize our projects and the fonts we use in them.
Like many of us, I’m not totally on board with UI3. And, AFAIK, the new Apps don’t really make sense in their first iteration. But it’s an other matter.I teach Figma to beginners and I’ve noticed that it gets harder for them to jump in and learn as fast as before. The interface is more cluttered. More clicks are needed some properties not directly accessible or placed elsewhere (why on earth would you separate position and size ? And Fitt’s Law is not really applied regarding size and distance of useful buttons (yes Add Variant, I’m talking about YOU!).And more regrettably, heavily wanted workflow improvements still seem in a galaxy far far away :. importing svg animation, where are you ? So hidden that i can’t see you or just not there ? . Variant renaming still a problem in the layer panel as the “Property=” is directly editable there. Most of my students repeatedly make the error of renaming directly the variant there generating errors.. Nearly all my students work on laptops, mainl
Currently, when you attempt to swap libraries in Figma, you see a nice overlay window that displays which components the old library components will switch to. On occasion, if the component name has changed between library versions, Figma won’t identify the correct component to swap to and it simply says ‘No component found’ (or something similar). It would be great if you could have the instance swap fucntionality here, so that you could manually select the component in the new library to replace the old one. I believe Sketch have something similar to this when switching libraries there. This would be a huge boost for projects managing multiple versions of libraries and projects needing to swap between them.
Let users set a variable value in %. It is useful for line-height (also for border radius 😈) Add typography related items to Number scoping
Is it possible to share a project with a person, that allows to copy elements but not to export?
I want to link to a specific version in history. This will keep references in JIRA consistent. Github has this ability with code. You can link to a specific line in a specific commit. Thanks!
I love the newly implemented the ability to use bold, italic or underline without creating an additional font style, but I’d LOVE to see strikethrough included in this - please Figma! Sincerely, a designer whose clients like to use compare pricing for their ecommerce sites.
it's great working with figma but there's one proble that i stuck with is that when there is a lots of content like frames, images etc. in layers panel its stacked randomly and when try to assemble everything on screen like adding images, small frames, logos, or text to a bigger frame or page like creating a poster so on screen it looks like everything is stacked in side the base frame but in layers panel its not can add a feature like you have move to different page and also can be moved to within frame lists in layers panel without scrolling or manually doing it
I create prototypes for TV using a Flirc device to enable us to test with a remote control that is mapped to keyboard keys using your key/gamepad option in the interaction details panel. The ability to long-press a key on the remote is a key interaction for us and the addition of a drop-down menu to enable the long-press of certain keys (amongst other options) would be greatly appreciated! I have created a mock-up of one way that this could work… but would welcome any way to achieve what I have described above!
Hi! This wouldn't seem like a nut job to implement, but can we have opportunity for us to add favicon for dark/light modes instead of one in Figma Sites? The dark mode is being standardized across every platform and browser nowadays, so it just makes sense to have a chance to set that for figma site.https://favicon.im/blog/favicon-for-light-dark-modes
Hello, We're starting to use Figma Buzz in my company. For me, being connected to a library of assets will allow the marketing team to respect our graphic charter and easily produce interesting content for social networks. But in fact, I can't delete other libraries from Figma Buzz in the left panel. Which is annoying, because the marketing team could use them (because it’s here...) , but we don't want to. Is there a way to remove them from the left panel here (attached picture) ? Have a nice day, Adrien
I always prefer to adjust Auto Layout gaps by manually typing numbers. Recently, the area where the cursor switches to gap adjustment mode has become too large, making it very inconvenient. Whenever I try to click other elements, it unintentionally activates gap adjustment, significantly reducing my productivity—especially when working with small components around 10px gaps. Please give us an option to turn off this feature, or at least reduce the activation area.
As a visual designer who frequently exports frames for various use cases, I would like to request a feature enhancement in Figma’s export capabilities.Specifically, it would be highly valuable to have an option (in the export panel for each frame) to export selected frames as JPG / PNG files with the ability to: Set a maximum target file size for each exported image, where Figma would intelligently adjust the JPEG quality/compression to meet that limit. Apply these settings on a per-frame basis for flexible control over output quality and file size. This functionality would significantly streamline workflows for designers who need optimized images for web, mobile, or other platforms with strict file size constraints, reducing reliance on external compression tools and multiple export steps.Thank you for considering this enhancement. I truly appreciate the continuous improvements Figma makes to empower creative workflows.
