It seems like the new accessibility checker for color does not work when using a color variable. It would be great to not have to break the variable to use that feature.

This one needs more upvotes! We definitely need this for color variables.
The accessibility contrast information in the color picker does not work with color variables or color styles.😵
😵However, my button is clearly on a background, so it is possible to compare the two colors. This renders the tool useless once the color is used as a variable.
💡In the variable table, it should be possible to choose the background color to compare the contrast of these two colors.
