Any plans to open up the Figma Slides API?Being able to create new presentations dynamically from a pre-defined template like this would be amazing: https://zapier.com/apps/google-slides/integrationsThis feature in Google Slides via Zapier (or API) is a game changer:Create Presentation From TemplateCreates a new presentation based on an existing one and can replace any placeholder variables found in your template presentation, like {{name}}, {{email}}, etc. I think this has the potential to be a powerful driver for growing Figma Slides signups.Welcoming a new user to Figma Slides - into an expertly designed template - already populated with copy for them, is one of the best ways to activate a brand new user.

Hi, community! Hope you’re all doing okay.I was just on a call with my team and one of my colleagues had the idea of adding comments in audio format. I did some research and know that it has been suggested already, I really believe it would me an amazing feature!

I would like the ability to share Figma Slides without the user needing to create an account and sign up. When sending slides to stakeholders i now have to export as a PDF and send it rather than just sending the presentation.

In a color field, I want the hex code input to be a search as well:

I find it difficult to get feedback from clients since I have to create a new figma file to send to the client that doesn’t have the entire exploratory process and iterations and previous comments.It would be awesome to have a way to hide/lock pages when sharing links with clients, this way they could only see the page/s you wanted them to review/see! It would also be great if there was a way for the client to add comments/feedback without needing to sign up for an account! Also, if they could add comments on their mobile device! I know you can respond to comments on mobile but the ability to add comments on mobile would be great! 

It would be awesome to include the names of people who voted for each Figjam sticky when exporting to CSV.

I love using Figma with my Stream Deck! I’ve created every shortcut I can on it, but there are a few that are missing in the UI. The most obvious for me are the union, subtract, intersect, and exclude selection buttons. I saw that Figma is releasing their own Figma Creator Micro Keyboard which excited me that the Keyboard Shortcuts might be further expanded. Fingers are crossed!

Since the previous feature request was ignored and archived, I'm creating a new one. As a developer many of us miss the “Pop Screen Out” feature of Zeplin which helps enourmously when finetuning the design of web and mobile app pages.I’ve seen the Ghost Screen plugin, but it’s not as helpful as the freely positionable “Pop Screen Out” window.Please add support for this - a proper Dev mode.

I wish that the badge was able to trail behind the text and wrap to the next line, as if it’s part of the text. Right now, the only way I can make this happen and still be responsive is to give each word its own textbox and let the container with the words & badge wrap, but that surrenders my ability to use ellipsis.

Can you “teach” the “AI” to automatically check the color of any text block put on something other than the default artboard? It would be amazing to have that specific tool built in instead of having 100 designers each choosing their own color contrast plugins, all of which are a pain in the butt to use. 

Let us work with 3D items, we do not need to create complexe shape but at least if we have the Z axis, it will be great

I am facing a lot of issues prototyping dynamic inputs since my work mostly dashboards and systems we need a for loop and a while loop

I suggest Figma add a feature that allows emoji and symbol picking directly in the page rename option. Do you think this would make managing Figma files easier for designers?

pain points:I’d love to request for a way to view all “approved plugins” in UI3 quick action bar. if I do not type in the exact name of a plugin sometimes it also would not show up requests:when user search plugins, offer the approved ones as a priority  improve search keyword matching so that close names can also bring up the approved plugin in search results  allow users to view full list of approved plugins that are applicable to his/her workspace in case something offering same functionality is already approved. 

Right now there's no single-click solution to break (ungroup, detach) a component, as already discussed here My suggestion is simply allow the same keyboard shortcut (CTRL+B) to break apart the main component (turn it into a frame or group) without having to go through the workaround of instancing + breaking + going back to the main component and deleting it. 

With our enterprise account, it is very confusing over who has access to what with workspaces, members, and teams. I expect to be able to create teams agnostic to any workspace or project. I could then assign that team to a product, file, or similar object. If it does work that way, I can’t figure it out. I am befuddled as to why I create a workspace, then can’t add members, but only teams. But then the project has 0 members? Forcing me to create a workspace then a project then adding a team results in too much structure. Also, from a permissions standpoint I keep getting my co-workers with a company email address telling me they don’t have access to files when I’ve added them to workspaces, teams, or whatever I can. Please simplify this experience.

Hello, Would it be possible for you all to add the ability to name variants via variables? This way when you are making changes across design system or framework, you can bind everything to a single token...

Hey guys, Zooming to 100% is something I use a thousand times a day. Ctrl+0 is something I have always found extremely annoying. I basically hit the left Ctrl, then take my hand from my mouse and hit the 0 from the numpad. Wouldn’t it be easier to just make it Ctrl+1? Or better yet, let us set this ourselves? Right now Ctrl+1 takes me to the home tab. I have NEVER in my life used this, I find it totally useless, as opposed to Ctrl+0, which I use every few seconds. Ctrl+1 for zoom to 100% is so much easier to use and so much faster, also more intuitive. I never toggle between file tabs using Ctrl and numbers, it’s a completely useless feature imo, but zooming in and out is something we constantly use. Thanks

I am a teacher currently looking for a replacement for Jamboard. I tried Figma for a few months in one of my classes and I like most of its features, but not being able to add more pages is somewhat of a dealbreaker for me. Please consider adding this for educational accounts.

Hello there,As a designer, I would like to play my video or GIF in the design file without having to preview a prototype. I think there are way too many clicks to just see what a motion graphic looks like in action. Overall, it would be awesome to see more video and GIF functions in the design file, including exporting like this thread below:   

I was thinking about this when a colleague ask if I saw him in the file. I was in another file that has similar prototypes and searching for him and didn't find him. Then, I realized that I was in the wrong file and started to look through the teams, projects, files, so I could find him.What if, there’s a invitation to file, where I send it to a person and they receive the invitation by the notifications menu, where they could accept or not.This could save a lot of time in meetings.

XD and InVision both had a dedicated grid view to view an entire flow, titled as static screens.Figma needs similar for a quick and orderly view of a flow. 

As a PM, I’m using Linear to write my specsI leverage the Linear Figma integration (Copy link to selection is integrated in Linear)I also do a lot of visual specs or focuses in order to illustrate my specsEvery time, I have to duplicate my parent frames in order to focus on a specific detail (if it overlaps across several frames) and insert them in a new one to clip the contentIt could be really great to have the ability to use slice for this (which seems to match my use-case in terms of focusing on parts of the design), and to be able to Copy link to selection to the Slice to leverage the Linear integration (or other tools) with easy refresh access

I want my prototype to fill the screen at any resolution, so I’ve set the “fill screen” option and hidden Figma ui. The problem is that there is always a margin around the frame no matter the window size. When I inspect the code in Chrome it looks like the responsible for those unwanted margins are these two lines: Is there a way to prevent Figma adding those margins?
