I am encountering an issue where publishing changes to a Main Component in a library file is systematically removing prototype connections added to instances in a separate file.

I’m trying to publish a Figma plugin using my account.During the publishing process, Figma asked me to enable two-factor authentication. I have already enabled 2FA, logged out, logged back into the Figma desktop app, and completed the 2FA verification successfully.However, the plugin publishing page still shows this message:“We detected a change to your account details. Please contact support@figma.com to proceed.”I emailed support@figma.com, but received an automatic reply saying Starter and Education accounts should post in the Support Forum.Could a Figma Support Specialist please help verify my account and unblock plugin publishing?

Hello , I was using AI to work on a project. It worked fine until the AI credits got finished midway. When I resumed the next day I could see it has completely messed up the code and lost everything. I tried to restore to an older version and It still is not able to restore it.this is the project I was working on

we had publish a website for our thesis a few days ago and it was working fine, but when our professors had checked it just now it suddenly broke, where all the assets are stretched or the desktop version shows the mobile version, even though we had changed virtually nothing in the file after passing it, just the desktop version is the part thats broken, the mobile version works fine

Every time I try to use the AI feature ‘Expand an image’ the platforms responds with “Can’t expand transparent background”. It does not matter if the image is added as a Frame fill or is standalone in the page. If it is in ‘Fit’, ‘Fill’ or ‘Crop’ mode. It is just not working.There was a similar problem about a month ago and it was resolved but now I experience the same error. I need an explanation and a timeline on when this can be resolved. We manage several email templates for monthly campaigns, each built with a set number of components. While not every email uses every component, we only remove existing sections as needed—we don’t add new ones.Can Buzz support this kind of workflow? Specifically, can components be toggled on or off within Buzz so unused sections are removed and the overall email layout automatically adjusts? ThanksJ

If i purchase monthly professional plan in figma, will i will be able to use it’s AI credit to integrate with Claude without having any paid plan of Claude?

If not, what is the correct workflow for moving a Figma Make design into Figma Design for export? Does “Copy design” from Figma Make to Figma Design preserve the layout well enough for PDF/PNG export? Are there known export issues with Figma Make-generated files, including OKLCH color errors? I have tried many times to verify my student account, however, each time it says that I have exceeded my limit for student plan. When I go back to old links, it says that they are expired and I need to try again. I have contacted SheerID and they told me that they have approved me, but its still says that i have to verify my account. Is there anything i can do? Best regards Lucas

Hey everyone! Just wanted to check in on a plugin submission I made about two weeks ago — it's still sitting at "Pending Review" and I haven't heard anything yet.I know the usual turnaround is around 5–10 business days, so I figured I'd pop in and ask if there's maybe a backlog going on, or if there's something off with my submission that I should fix. Changed my uni education account email to personal email. Will my files still be there? My account says it’ll downgrade to a free account in a few days since my education status got revoked after the email change. Will i need to start paying for professional figma account once my education account expires to still be able to edit my files? Thanks  

I am admin and owner of a Professional team project. Some files and drafts are owned by former employees, and I need to delete them. Right now I only have can view access. How can I delete them? 

Hello, I can not edit my own file in figjam. I know I have two accounts to figma, but I can not figure out which one owns my file that I can not edit. I suspect there is a third account that I can not sign into - since I am missing some files. I have created a student profile with my school email, and I suspect there was a regular account with the same email address before turning it into a student account. Could you please help?

,I accidentally changed it to design mode and develop mode and in less than 5 minutes, I changed it to collab mode. It doesn't make sense to spend 5 minutes and charge both. Please give me a refund.

I want to request a review of AI credits used during repeated troubleshooting on my project. I ran into the same tab navigation issue multiple times, and each time I was given several different “fixed” responses that did not resolve the problem. In these attempts, the assistant repeatedly identified different causes, said the issue was corrected, and had me retry, but the tabs still did not work. The working solution only came after I said I was frustrated and felt my credits were being wasted, at which point the assistant switched to the simplest direct onclick approach and it finally worked. This was not isolated to one incident; the same pattern happened multiple times where adding to the database broke other functionality and led to extended back-and-forth troubleshooting that consumed additional credits.

Hi all,My team is trying to connect Figma and GitHub's Cloud Coding Agent (not GitHub's local VSCode coding agent). Our end goal is enabling the cloud coding agent to access Figma MCP tools like  “get_code”/”get_design_context”. Since there's no public plans yet on any direct connection between the two, I have questions about potential alternatives:Are there any plans or current capabilities for Figma MCP to support a PAT or API based authorization? This would be incredibly useful for apps that don't use Oauth like GitHub's Cloud Coding Agent. Or, are there any plans or current capabilities for Figma's Rest API's to access equivalents of the MCP tools like `get_design_context`?So far, we've built our own intermediary (https://github.com/bitovi/ai-coding-agent) that handles the OAuth between Figma's MCP & GitHub's Cloud C

We’re using variables for all font styles with Red Hat Text and noticed an issue with font weight, “Medium” particularly. When we double click and edit a text field, the font weight visually changes, but it still shows as “medium” in Figma. This doesn’t only happen to my file but everyone else shared the same set design system in our organization.I’m not sure if this is due to the installed font or a figma display issue. In the screenshot, “Gross sales” shows the updated (incorrect) appearance after editing, while “Deposit amount” reflects the original expected style.Does anyone has the same issue or has any idea why this happen? Thank you.  

We have these two variations to support hover interactions. When the text is changed while using this component upon changing to the hover variant the underline text styling is not getting applied. Also, Figma stopped supporting changing the text styling on the linked text labels. This has become very painful for us in alot of our components text properties were linked to keep it the same across various variants but their styling were changing which now can’t happen.Is this a bug..? 

What kind of customer service is this? We were using Figma for the corporate for a long time. Once we cancel the subscription, we lost all this information and access to previous bills. We submitted a request, but they were no feedback for a week what so ever. This is so unprofessional. No options to contact an operator! Left to speak with a useless bot. Worst experience ever.
