When applying text styles that have associated variables attached the values presented do not respect the applied mode. For instance I have a title that has a mode for Mobile (20px), and a mode for TV (40px), when i open up the style, the default mode (in this case mobile) is displayed instead of the TV mode size. I have also observed this within grid layouts when applied it shows the default mode (26 columns). When in reality it is actually 24 columns, if you then detach the style it shows the correct number. And when detached you can see it shows the correct value Seems this was a major oversight, as it makes applying size variables pretty time consuming, as I have to check if I’ve chosen the correct size by clicking and opening up the variable list. In short it seems to default to the first default mode, instead of respecting the chosen mode. It also only seems to affect styles. Anyone else found this to be an issue?

I'm seeing an issue where publishing a Make Kit removes the component exports from the package root and creates an effectively empty JavaScript bundle. Importing SVG created in Adobe Illustrator 2026 to Figma doesn’t work. SVG created in Illustrator 2025, with same settings works just fine. 

Hi everyone,I'm having trouble deleting some token groups/collections from my variables panel and could use some help.As you can see in the attached screenshot, I have duplicate groups like 03. Spacing, 04. Viewport, 05. Border, etc., right under my 00. Core color line. However, the option to delete these groups is completely missing or unclickable.Has anyone encountered this specific bug or lock state? Is there a way to force-delete these groups without breaking the rest of my local variables?

Just searched for this issue and actually found a forum topic abt it: This was one year ago. It still is not working and the workaround is not viable for existing tables.Very sad to see this is not being considered at all apparently… Can only agree to the last poster, this is an issue that makes me not use the feature at all because I need it to work responsively.

I created a Figma account with my main email, but to be able to be admin in the other team, I need an email with their domain instead. So the company created an alias with the other domain for me. In the background, they are the same, the second email is just an alias that ends up in my primary email inbox.The alias works fine, I tested to send and receive to/from different providers and it works just fine. But with Figma I receive nothing.The other team invited my alias to join their team and I never received the invitation emails (nothing in my junk folder either), I also tried to create an account directly with this email and I am stuck at the verification step because I don’t receive the verification emails from Figma. To recap, I have one Figma account with one domain that works just fine. Hi Figma Research team,I took part in a Figma research survey on September 18 (invited by email through RallyUXR). Incentives from previous Figma studies have usually reached me within about 3 days, but it's been 12 days and nothing has arrived. I've checked spam and promotions for any Tremendous email.The invite came from a no-reply address, so I couldn't respond to it. Figma Support told me to contact RallyUXR, but as far as I understand, Rally is just the tool Figma uses, and only the researcher who owns the study can send or resend the incentive from their workspace.Could someone from the research team check my participant status on that study and resend the redeem link if needed? Hi Figma Support,I'm experiencing an issue with publishing new components to a Figma library.I've added several new icon components to our library. They appear correctly in the Publish library window with the “Added” status. However, when I select them and click Publish, Figma shows that the publishing process has started, but it never seems to complete.There is no success message and no error message. When I reopen the Publish library window, the same components are still listed as “Added”, and they are not available as published library components.I've already tried:Publishing all components at once Publishing only one component at a time Deleting the affected components and recreating them from scratch Publishing through the library updates/publishing interface Reopening and restarting FigmaSome components from the same file were published successfully earlier, but most of the newly added components are now affected.I'm using the Figma Desktop app, not Figma in a web browser.Could y

DescriptionWe are experiencing an issue with icons inside components when switching between states.Our use case is an icon that (example):In the default state is not filled and uses color #FFFFFF. In the selected state becomes filled and uses color #000000.When creating the component, we initially use a specific default icon, and the color and fill behavior works correctly across the variants.However, as soon as we swap/change the icon to a different icon, the selected-state properties are lost:The icon no longer becomes filled. The icon color is no longer changed to the state color.We have also tried alternative approaches, such as applying a variable that forces the icon to be filled. Hi all,new org admin here, so bear with me. I have trouble organizing the users in my instance to specific teams and user groups. I do plan to use groups for SSO config, so will add groups to team access. What i am really missing, is there a way to see specific user membership in team and/or group without exporting csv? Like when you click on one user details, you should be able to see which Teams user has access to, additionally, imagine having the info, on the type of access for each Team.

Hi Figma team,We're setting up Code Connect for our design system and the MCP preview in the Code Connect UI always shows "Can't generate MCP preview right now. Please try again later." It happens on every connected component.Our setup:- Code is hosted on a self-hosted GitLab instance (gitlab.atida.com), private repository.- Components are connected at the component set level from the Code Connect UI, using the GitLab file URL (e.g. https://gitlab.atida.com/<group>/<project>/-/blob/main/src/components/Button/Button.tsx) and the exported component name (Button).- We also published parserless Code Connect templates for the same components.- The components show as "Connected", and the design context returned through the Figma MCP server includes the connected component correctly.- We tried removing the local file-path connection and keeping only the GitLab one: same result.Questions:1.  I'm having problem to subscribe to figma plan. It keeps showing error message "Your plan was previously in CAD and must continue being paid in CAD. Make sure you provide CAD payment method". I tried multiple CAD credit cards and keep getting the same error. Figma customer support seems to be useless or doesn’t exist. Already created ticket and waiting for a week without any feedback.

Hi, I attempted to verify my Figma Education status, but the automated system rejected my documents multiple times. Hi everyone,I’m an instructor using Figma/FigJam during my classes and I’m running into an ongoing permissions issue that’s becoming difficult to manage during live lectures.I have a folder containing the FigJam boards we use in class. My students need to be able to open these boards, edit them, and add sticky notes while I’m teaching.I’ve already added all of their emails through “Share this folder” with edit access. However, I’m seeing a few problems:Some students are still asked to request access even though their email is already listed on the folder. I’ll approve their request or try adding their email again, only to find that they were already added previously. Even when I make a board public for 24 hours and approve a student on the spot, some students still can’t access or edit it. This has happened repeatedly rather than being a one-time permissions issue.There’s also a related Education account problem affecting some students. Last weekend I was able to prompt the AI agent in canvas to create a prototype, with basic interactions, right on my file. Today, the chatbot says it can’t add interactions, and I have to do it myself, or use Figma Make. Is this a bug or a feature? Figma Make creates prototypes but when copying it to your Design file, it only copies the UI and not the interactions created. Could you let me know if this is a feature so that I can move on to Claude Design for prototypes?Thanks!

We experienced a serious issue where a browser tab was left open while an older version was selected in the Version History sidebar. After the 30-minute autosave interval, Figma created a new saved version based on that older state, effectively overwriting several days of more recent work in the current timeline.Fortunately, the version immediately before the autosave still contained the correct work, so we were able to recover it. However, this was understandably alarming for the designers, and it is easy for someone to trigger accidentally just by reviewing previous versions and leaving the tab open in the background.I’d suggest disabling autosave whenever a user is viewing an older version in Version History. Autosave should only resume once the user explicitly returns to the current version. At minimum, Figma should provide a prominent warning that the user is viewing an old version and that leaving the file open may create a new save from that state.This would make version-history
