Hi,I am an educator using Figma for my class and can’t verify - I’m the only one unable to edit the shared board which is frustrating. I have emailed both SheerID and the Figma education team multiple times. SheerID keeps resolving my ticket with no explanation or solution. I think I might have initially been blocked because I am overseas using a VPN or because my legal name is different from my school name? I’m just guessing, goodness knows why, they won’t tell me… A disappointing experience. Please help reset the verification limit asap - we’re moving through the semester already.

Is there a way to download the source code of my Figma plugin from the community?I code a plugin few years ago in my work computer,  but lose the code when I quite that job.Now I want adjust some feature of that plugin, is there a way?

Hello, this is my first time using Figma and i’ve been trying to redeem my student benefit. I am in no way trying to exploit the system but it just wouldn’t work and the email that i got from Sheer ID is rather not usefull, i feel angry because the link that they send via email as the last step for verification just wouldnt work on my end. Now will emailing sheer id even work anymore?

We are facing an issue on Hand-Off file (Dev Mode):When we changed the token spacing name (ex: from Sm to Md) and publish DS library. The main component on Working file is updated but its instance in Dev Mode isn’t updated , the developers still see it Sm. How to deal with this problem?I don’t want to publish working file as a library. HiWe are not getting the option of "file_variables:read" scope while creating a Personal Access Token(PAT) in the backend, required to fetch variables through APIs.I'm creating a plugin, so through code, I want to fetch the styles and variables, present in any libraryI'm able to fetch the text styles only, but not able to fetch the spacing and colour stylesHow do I move ahead with this?Thank You

When clicking on an element and trying to set the fill to a pattern, it’s not possible to select a source and use it as a pattern anymore. Issue is happening both in browser and desktop app (126.1.2).  

When I wanted to update the file I had previously published to the community as Library → UI Kit, the sub category (UI Kit) disappeared and only shows one option (Other) which will not display a preview or be shown in the right listingThis is when I tried to go back to UI KitThis is how it used to beas shown the option is completely gone :( note: I don’t know if it’s related but I published the library to my account

Since yesterday I’ve been experiencing issues with Figma Sites and the CMS.Rich Text content no longer appears on any newly published pages, even though it works correctly in prototype mode.I also tried publishing a new page to run some tests, but now even the page interlinking seems to be malfunctioning.Are there currently any known bugs or issues on the platform currently? How soon will it be restored ?

I’ve made a web-app with figma make, and was happy to see that Push to Github was an option, but I’m having issues with this feature. Whenever I made a change to code, either by ai or manual, I saw that Github didn’t recieve the updated code. I investigated som more and found out that Figma don’t understand how files from the project were being pushed.I have a root directory in github, with one folder (/src). Here, all my files from figma make lies (Public etc) What I noticed is that Figma creates two index.html files, two package.json, two vite.config.ts  on push.The original files from Make is in /scr. and another basic version gets put on the Github root.I’ve tried to figure out how to fix or work around this, but I cannot figure it out. I’ve tried moving the correct versions to Github root, but to no help. And to make it worse, they get overwritten with every push. Must be some more files not being pushed to the right location.

I’m using custom library created for my product. In that i’m having number of components created and using it in other files.Currently, i’m facing very difficult issue, that is, My Library updates are hot syncing with my design files. Please, fix this issue as soon as possible. Thanks 

Hey can someone explain me how I can make the form submission actually sends out forms to services like getform or formspree? It never sends any submissions.Ive created the website via figma make.I asked the AI to make this form actually submit and didnt work. I used GPT to help me, but no. This might have messed up the code too. So Im rly lost and am not savvy in these areas at all.

Hi Figma Team,I am writing this post as a last resort because I am currently unable to access my projects, which is critical for my ongoing work and portfolio preparation. I sent an official support request 4 days ago but have not received a response yet, and the delay is starting to become a major issue.Context of the Issue: I have been a verified Education plan user since September 2025. Recently, my University of Washington email ([redacted PII - DJV 2/11/26]) was temporarily locked due to a technical issue with the school IT department. To ensure I didn't lose access to my files during that period, I temporarily changed my Figma account email to my personal Gmail.The Current Problem: Now that my UW email is fully restored and active, I have reverted my Figma account back to [redacted PII - DJV 2/11/26]. However: My Education plan status is no longer recognized.

I’m wondering if it’s possible to share view only files to our community pages but when users view it they can’t copy an element and paste it elsewhere?  I’m asking because I think it’d be cool to share my Figma community link with clients as a portfolio.

Hi, I’ve lost an important file and I can no longer find it on my account at all.Can I get some help on this? I can't see it in my Deleted or Drafts folder either.

First of all, I have my Figma project set to Display P3 color space. When I try to import an image with a Display P3 tag, the image looks normal on Mac viewfinder or in Photoshop, it reads the tag correctly (first image), but when I import into a Figma project with the Display P3 color space active in the project, it feels like Figma is doing the color management again instead of reading the correct color profile attached to the image, so it oversaturates it. I’m going crazy over this. Can someone help?

Yes I know this topic has been raised before, but I would like to raise it again, since it is breaking the core interaction in my design system. Is Figma even aware of this issue? Since the last discussion about it is ~2years ago, and this issue still exists. Steps: Create a Button component set with 2 variants: Default, On Press Add interactions in the variant: “Default” → While pressing → Change to “On Press” Insert an instance of the “Default” button into a new Frame Add interactions to the button: On Click → Open overlay. Check the “Close when clicking outside” box. Test the prototype Results When you click the button, the button change to “On Press”, the overlay opens, but when clicking outside the overlay to close it, the button does not reset back to “Default”. Expected: The button should reset to “Default”.
