 I'm making an application that requires user authentication by OAuth to perform certain actions, and well to avoid the problem of the user having to repeat the OAuth multiple times, I can use the Refresh Token, but reading I saw that they combined the use of the same endpoint that returns the code in the OAuth flow with that of the Refresh TokenBut there's a problem, it redirects me here:https://developers.figma.com/docs/rest-api/authentication/#refresh-oauth-tokenAnd this page only covers the OAuth flow. There are no examples or explanations of how to use the same endpoint for this flow to use the Refresh Token and get a new one. By the way, the page doesn't even mention the refresh token's validity period. The only thing they mention at the end of the document is that the access token lasts 24 hours. It's confusing because I don't know if it's just the one generated manually on the page or both (it would be good to clarify that). I'd like to know if there's any official documentatio

Hi Figma Support Team,Our educational plan was recently locked, but we’ve already reverified our status and even submitted a full list of students for upload and verification. Despite completing these steps, our access is still restricted.Currently when I click to reverify it show me that we have successfully verified your education status! This issue is currently blocking our entire academic course and disrupting ongoing design work for students. Could you please help us resolve this as soon as possible? 

I have several component with linked Variables to the selected Theme on the page. Even if I have the linked variables matched to the selected themes there seems to be a bug where sometimes the linked variable will not update to the proper theme when I switch the page level theme. Some of the components update fine, others will not. I’m not sure what causes this but it’s confusing and frustrating. 

Figma Make Preview is not working. It doesn’t display anything. Just a blank white page. Nothing happens how much even I wait. I could’t understand the problem. Its 4 days like this now.

Hello!I tried re verification for FIGMA student, but it was showing network error even though network was good, and continuously trying it was still showing the same error.Then it started showing Verification limit exceeded.So I contacted sheerID via mail, they responded with:We were unable to process your verification request. And Your ticket has now been permanently closed.I mail them again and again still got no solution.. If it's possible resetting the verification limit, please do it.Please provide the solution for this issue otherwise I won't be able to re verify student plan.I have also attached the image for better clarification. 

Hi. I often use the Option + W shortcut. But I often miss it and my project closes (Command+w). How can I disable this key combination for the Figma app on a MyBook? I created a new Figma shortcut for closing tabs in the keyboard settings on my MacBook. But the old command still closes the tab containing my project.

I’m getting the following error- We can't open this file because we're having trouble with WebGL. Please try restarting the desktop app.If this problem persists, your graphics card or driver may not be supported. This happened after updating Figma. It works perfectly on different browsers but the desktop app isn’t working. Are there any fixes for this?

Hi! I have my Figma Site in a place to get feedback from my team and when I preview the prototype, everything is responsive as I expected with autolayouts etc. However, when I go to publish, because the page is not a frame, I cannot make the outer frame inside that page “fill” it and be responsive, it just stays that default desktop size. I don’t want to just view my breakpoints, I want to be able to drag my window and have the design take up that space. I must just be missing something obvious.. and appreciate any help! Unfortunately I cannot share it because it is for work, but let me know what other details I can share. Thanks. 

The recently introduced fill patterns do not seem to be correctly saved in styles:They are not editable (cannot select a new pattern object, and the toolbar does not show the pattern tab) When exported from a library, using them in another file results in displaying dots (presumably the default pattern) 

Hi there, thanks in advance for any help.I have seen this issue in the community a few times, but solution was to open a support ticket. Hoping there is a quicker fix. Late on handover and I can’t share work with a client.I am from the UK, with a UK card, but I am not there. The payment upgrade screen only has Euro and USD in the drop down. If I try to pay Euro, which is fine on my card everywhere else. It just comes back saying my card isn't from a country that can pay in Euro (whatever logic that is) and to try a different card. I’ve tried clearing browser and using a UK VPN location. Hello,I am teaching Figma with Educational account in Borgarholtsskoli Collage.I have one student that does not get verified. All the other students are in the team and verified. This one student has done the same as the other students many times without success. And now he gets an error message when trying to verify again.I have chatted with the AI help and gone through all the problem solving suggestions. I also contacted Sales/ tech support and was advised to write here for help. I have also written to SheerID and am waiting for their response.Its difficult to teach the class when one student can’t participate so I need to get this fixed asap, therefore I write here also while waiting for SheerID.can you help me? 

Hi, I’m facing a problem about the education plan. Basically I had to create another account with my colleges email, and I did, but this didn’t solve anything, I tried to verify and nothing, it gave me an error page, redirecting me to another site so I can contact the team support. It’s been a while since this, when I logged in to try again, couldn’t even find an option to the education plan just the professional one. Anyways, I’m still a student, I tried everything I could :/  Also I’m from Brazil, I don’t know if that has to do with anything but I’d like to mention just in case 

Hi there!I have issues with the prototype of my button animation. It jumps up and right for about a 1px and returns back. I’ve created a Button component with several states and been testing Default and Hover. The variants are completely the same but the color. I’ve created a frame with an instance of the Button to check the the animation in the prototype. When I turn off the box shadow the animation looks better but anyway the jumps take place. If there is a box shadow the animation looks sadly (I’ve attached gifs to show the behaviour).I’ve searched for such issues in the internet, talked to ai, played with the styles in Figma, but nothing helped. It seems that it’s a bug but can’t be 100% sure. What should I do? Is there a thing I do wrong or it’s a Figma bug should’ve been fixed?Thanks in advance!  

There was a payment error. I paid $60 for my Figma Pro plan, which was only for my account. For some reason, the plan was activated for three accounts within a month. Can I verify that no one else in the project used Figma Pro, so will the $40 be transferred to my plan for future months?

I’ve enabled Google Analytics in a Figma Site that I launched about a month ago and I’m able to see Users and Page Views, but not the Engagement Time. Is there a way to fix this or is it a know issue?

We’ve been experiencing significant performance issues with Figma over the past 2–3 weeks, and it’s starting to impact our ability to work efficiently. The problems we’re noticing include:  Very slow performance across the app (both web and desktop) Delays when accessing files Lag when using libraries Major issues when working with components that contain nested instances  Everything was working fine during Q3, but this slowdown started recently and has been consistent since. We’ve tried different networks and setups (including with and without VPN), but the issue persists. Is anyone else experiencing similar problems lately? Any insights or updates from the Figma team would be greatly appreciated.

I made a drag animation from 3 frames to make a horizontal scrolling effect. All my animations are ok exept one (frame 2 to frame 1). Some components from frame 1 are fading out when I am dragging, but they show up when I release the drag. I can’t find the problem.. Is there some special trick to get Make to display images? I’ve tried importing image files, copying and pasting as png from Figma Design, pasting frames from Design…it will work for 1 or 2 prompts, and then I’ll get a broken image.

today i start animate a frame with full carve i simply change wight size in this frame but the result not same thing i usually get its just the wight change but it change the shape while it animate. 

My school doesn't have a school email i could use. Technically I have one but it's not accessible for students and is only used to sign in to school computers. I already had an education account on my normal google account and i went to re-verify it but now it won'tet me do so without a school email. I need to use figma for school as I'm an IT student but I can't pay for a normal upgraded account as i have no income.

My Figma design file is gone. I didn't delete it, and it's not even in the Recycle Bin. Please recover it immediately. Please save me.
