hey i don,t have my last name but the submission form of figma for education required the last name what should i do? 

I tried Figma MCP when it was presented - and everything worked perfectly, but previous week it stopped responding for most of my models, but for some it randomly gives something. Actually it doesn’t work for me as it worked previously. Does anyone knows what’s the issue and how to resolve?

Getting the “Publishing failed: Please reload the page to publish” error when I try to publish.I’ve gone through the older treads but haven’t found a solutions beside Figma sent out a fix. I’ve tried everything I can think of including the obvious solutions like reloading tab and restarting computer.I’ve tried deleting all new components and even restored earlier versions, from the version history panel, that were previously published. Yet still no luck. My other libraries will publish, but my main library will not. 🙄

Weird alignment UII thought it’s a new feature for text when I first saw it, but it changes to a normal alignment UI once I click anything. Is it a bug, or I’m missing something here? :)

Hi Figma Community,I'm experiencing an issue where Figma file links are not opening in the desktop app when clicked from Safari. I have had issues lately where my prototypes are super slow. I have tried: Removing as many auto layout frames as i can Removing as many unnecessary interactions as possible Removed variables that was used in prototyping Detaching a lot of instances Created a flow that avoided overlays I did manage to create a prototype that was usuable by exporting my frames as png and bringing them back in to Figma and putting the components necessary for the flow on top of the images. But this solution obviously isn’t great in the long run. I think the issue might stem from a component from my design system. But I haven’t located the issue yet. Has anyone had similar issues and found a solution?

Hi. I have a question, is it my error or is it more of a rendering of the image when prototyping? I have a project, I divided the website sections into individual frames. I then “wrapped” these frames into one large frame. They are aligned perfectly every single pixel. Unfortunately, in the prototypes view I occasionally get such a thin gray line between the frames as below in the screenshot. How to deal with this?

Hello,  I am currently working on a Figma Make and I am consistently getting this error “Try attaching fewer or smaller parts” and no matter what I entered in the prompt, I am always getting this error. I already tried duplicating the project but the error still persist there.

I'm trying to connect an external domain to my site, but I haven't been able to do so successfully.Is domain connection supported under the Educational plan? After updating to macOS Tahoe and the latest Figma update, my laptop's processor started to overheat. I don't work with large files but the situation is critical for the laptop's processor. MacBook Pro M1

so I have modified and downloaded the files into my laptop and later I edited the app with the prompt in the Figma .so I want back the downloaded version of it .I have tried to give prompts to get back but not came fulls so help me with the karthiksirigupa@gamil.com

Normally the library files show a little icon in the lower left of the tile thumbnail image that looks like an open book. One of my files is showing a new symbol I’ve never seen before and I don’t know what it means. Anyone know?Symbol I haven’t seen before.

Good afternoon, everyone! I uploaded the video to the project after restarting the prototype, it loses a lot of quality and becomes pixelated.I've tried converting to WebM format and reducing the file size, but it still doesn't help. The frame size and the video are the same. 1920 x 1080 px

I’m facing a strange issue in Figma. Some elements in my project are completely invisible on the canvas—they don’t show up while I’m designing, and even though they are clearly listed in the layers panel. However, when I switch to Prototype mode, those same elements suddenly appear as expected. I’ve tried checking layer visibility, groups, and constraints, but nothing seems to fix it. Has anyone experienced this problem before or know a solution?  

All the semantic variables are just hex values the reference colors (primitive palette) are stored in STYLES instead of variables The semantic roles are doubled both in the vairables and the styles the components themselves consume the styles instead of the variables The option to generate the color table is not a checkbox like the documentation claims. its just a link to the plugin page? I just want a simple monochrome app with one accent color for my CTA. VERY standard stuff. I don’t want this weird multicolor rainbow library that gives me PINK cards. What is going on???…. It’s a literal nightmare. I can’t see how to use or customise it systematically, or why any of these decisions were made. Is there anybody here who has successfuly used it and actually understands how it works??

I designed some UI screens a few months ago, today when I came back and suddenly kept duplicating frames, FIgma would freeze and automatically enter Recovery mode, you guys can try going to this link and duplicating this frame 😀[redacted]
