I truly enjoy using Figma. However, there’s a small but repetitive issue I keep encountering — and over time, it becomes tiring. Every time I create a new shape, I have to manually set the "Corner Smoothing" value to the same number again and again. In reality, this is a setting that is usually defined once at the start of a project and rarely changed afterward.A simple suggestion:Let the last-used value persist automatically.Additionally, accessing this feature is unnecessarily hidden and distant in the UI, which slows down the workflow. That’s the second minor issue.I've included my own approach to this below.But if persistence is added, this visual suggestion could be considered a second improvement.In short:If something doesn’t need to be repeated but still is — there’s probably a design opportunity there. As a bonus feature, having a "Apply to all corners" button would make it even better! Thank you Figma!

The “follow active frame” function was introduced in preview mode. I would also really like to have this functionality in the Prototype view. What do you think about it?

Can anyone figure out how to reorder the list of variable collection in the fill dropdown? The layer ‘mode’ assignment appears to sort correctly alphabetically, but the pick list under the fill menu does not, which is a huge painpoint, and will definitely lead to my designers picking the first color they see instead of the semantic one. Correctly sorted - numerical Incorrectly sorted - 2. is at the top instead of 1.

It would be really helpful to be able to use a variable to set a Type Style’s Letter Case (under the Type Settings meatball menu). It could be a String Variable, and the options would be “As entered”, “Uppercase”, “Lowercase”, “Title case”, and “Small caps”. I personally use modes to switch between different brands, and some brand styles require uppercase while others don’t allow it. This suggestion may be a small feature in the grand scheme, but I wonder if others would also find it useful.

I love the bulk renaming feature of Design Space, I just wish instead of only being able to rename layers, I could also bulk re-type their text content. For example, creating the labels on a chart where you need to manually type out 20 text layers, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, so on. I’d love to select the text layers, and use the “Rename 20 layers feature” to create the list. I’m not sure where that feature would best fit, but I’d use it.

Lately, I’ve been really missing the `Title` field for publishing changes. I’m surprised this was removed with UI3 now. Benefits Helps break up Version History at a glance, instead of just having `Components published` down the entire list. Saves time later instead of having to edit version history changes with a specific title. Request Please bring back the `Title` field for the “Publish changes” window. Curious why this was removed? At the very least, maybe do what GitHub Commits do where the first line automatically becomes the Title, and the lines after (especially if bullets/hyphens are used), become the description automatically.

I was going to praise how neat the new Annotation feature is, when I realized the content is only visible to Dev Mode accounts. Are you serious? I understand you want to limit creating annotations to certain seat types, but viewing annotations should be a viewer-level feature. Come on Figma, there are better ways to convince your users to pay for a subscription. This is such a crooked move.

When I write create long paragraphs with text tool on the Figma I get the unnecessary spaces on edges of the paragraph like below. But I think if there a hyphenation feature (like Adobe Photoshop) it could add dashes automatically on the texts and fix this issue. So, what do you think about this feature feedback?

Hello! 🤠 I was very excited to see the addition of Auto Layout Grid today! Having flexibility for both Rows and Columns at the same time is a game changer. That said, I immediately ran into not being able to set a column width to “Hug” within a table, which is a bummer. In the attached video, I want the “Audited By” column to Hug to the longest table cell content. I show both the current solution today, and what I am trying to do with Auto Layout Grid. I can manually adjust the width of the column, I guess, but as you can see, it makes it hard to ensure correct padding without a lot of careful tuning of the width. Anyone have any solutions? Will this be coming as a fast-follow feature? Thank you!

Although I find the new autolayout UI extremely convoluted and overdesigned, the ‘hug/fill parent’ feature is great. However, It would be immensely helpful to have more control over how the elements fill the parent. Currently, the only option is for the elements to fill the remaining space, but oftentimes, I need certain elements to take up a certain proportion. Example: I need element-1 to take up 2fr (~66%) and the rest to take up 1fr (~33%). It would be a game-changer if we could use ‘fr’ units. As I was looking for a way to do this natively in Figma, I came across this concept article on Medium. In the article, Андрей Насонов (Andrey Nasonov) describes adding the option to choose alignment in the image settings beyond the default centered. This would be a simple but huge improvement to image settings, especially for responsive design. Hi guys, I've been sitting on this idea for a while now. Let me know what you guys think. The feature is called Anchor , and it allows users to drop an “ anchor” on a specific location in the canvas, navigate freely to other parts of the file (to assist teammates, inspect components, etc.), and then quickly return to the anchored location with a single shortcut (e.g., pressing the space bar). This idea’s on the house… but I’ll leave my bank details here just in case you feel generous when you roll it out.😅

Why is the commonly used "Create Component" button so hidden now? To adjust the color opacity, I now have to click on the Fill button and then reduce the opacity from inside.
