Workaround to bind a variable in a nested instance within a component?

Hi, my problem was the same like here: “Change Variant of a component from a different component”

@tank666 sent me a very helpful visual step by step video for this solution after i asked for that. BIG THANKS FOR THAT!!!

So far, it works. But it don’t works with nested instances within a component. It seems that Figma has no solution for that at the moment. Is there a smart workaround to bind a variable in a nested instance within a component or to have the same effect to swap a state of different component?
