Hello @Anouk_Mateman, Firstly, I want to thank you for reaching out and for giving us a clear picture of what you’ve been going through. Sorry to hear about the difficulties you’ve encountered.
I noticed that your previous ticket was closed, but I believe your situation requires follow-up with our support team. Rest assured, I’m going to touch base with our team internally on your behalf.
Our support team is equipped to handle account issues, and they’ll be in contact to provide you with further assistance on this matter.
We’re currently experiencing a high volume of inquiries, so it may take a little while, but I’d recommend keeping an eye on your email inbox. You’ll receive a notification about a new ticket to the email that’s linked to your account.
Once again, thank you so much for getting in touch. Your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.
I had the exact same problem as described above and found a workaround solution which does not require to contact the support team, or can unlock the situation until they can process your request.
Instead of loging in with Google, go to the “Forgot password” page. Enter the original email used to create the Google account (the hotmail one, in the case presented above) and click the “Reset password” button. You will receive an email with a reset password link. This will allow you to create a password to login with your email address directly and access your account.
I found the solution in the official help pages: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039820114-Manage-email-address-or-password, in the “Switch from Google SSO to email and password” section.
