Sign in with Google doesnt work properly anymore

Hi there,

So had an google account without Gmail, i used my hotmail email account for my Google account. Since a few weeks I created a Gmail account under my existing Google account. If I now try to sign in with Google it signs me in with my new primary Gmail account and I can’t get to my old account. Is there some way how to fix this? on other websites it works fine when i now ry to sign in with google so i think Figma does something wrong with google sign in and creates new accounts.

I hope there is a way to get my files back.

I tried Figma support but i don’t have an payed account so they wont help me.

I had the exact same problem as described above and found a workaround solution which does not require to contact the support team, or can unlock the situation until they can process your request.

Instead of loging in with Google, go to the “Forgot password” page. Enter the original email used to create the Google account (the hotmail one, in the case presented above) and click the “Reset password” button. You will receive an email with a reset password link. This will allow you to create a password to login with your email address directly and access your account.
